Dr. Arifah has over 20 years of experience in Ultrasound/Radiology in a very well reputed big Government and Private sector hospitals. Dr. Arifah founded Islamabad Institute of Sonography (IIS) in 2014 with a vision to impart education and train students to acquire the art of Diagnostic Sonography. For the last many years IIS has made a very significant positive impact on the professional careers

of many healthcare providers. Since its inception, the institute has grown leaps and bounds, expanding the applications from the specialties like Abdomen, Obstetrics, and Gynaecology to offer training on small parts, Musculoskeletal and Doppler studies. Dr. Arifah Jamil, with her team, at Islamabad Institute of Sonography (IIS) is dedicated to education, training and research in the field of Diagnostic Ultrasound and Color Doppler. IIS is the only professional training centre offering full time training in the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad, covering the total spectrum and modalities of Diagnostic Ultrasound.
