Advancing Dementia Care: Perspectives from the Ground
We are proud to have our Head of Social Services, Brandon Ow Yong, representing us at the Dementia Masterclass 2026! Brandon joined a panel of experts to dive into the “Singapore Perspective: Dementia Care Challenges on the Ground.”
Together with fellow speakers including Mr Kenny Tan, CEO of St Luke’s Eldercare Ltd, Mdm Low Mui Lang, Clinical Director & Director of Nursing of All Saints Home as well as special speaker, Ms Francien van de Ven from Netherlands, the session highlighted real challenges faced by care teams, from managing wandering and safety concerns, to supporting families and creating meaningful programmes for seniors with dementia.
Brandon also shared how strong support from management and better understanding from families can make a big difference in helping care teams provide consistent, quality care.
It was an afternoon of valuable exchange, and a timely reminder that supporting persons living with dementia requires a collective effort from care teams, families, and the wider community.
