So happy to have the opportunity to invite Prof. Tommy Chang Nai-Jen from Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Taiwan 🇹🇼 to Singapore 🇸🇬 as our Musculoskeletal Sciences ACP Visiting Professor.

As part of his visit, Prof. Chang will be joining us for a special MSKSC ACP Grand Round on Upper & Lower Extremity Nerve Reconstruction — sharing his experience, surgical strategies and practical pearls from a career dedicated to restoring function after complex nerve injuries.

A small step for us, but a meaningful step towards the future of robotic surgery in Singapore. 🤖🇸🇬

Grateful to have travelled to Beijing with colleagues representing Adult Reconstruction, Trauma, Spine, Hand Surgery and Orthopaedic Nursing, to visit TINAVI Headquarters and Beijing Jishuitan Hospital (JST) and complete our robotic surgery certification.

And having Sangeetha, one of our nursing leaders, with us made it even more special. She completed her fellowship with me in Robotics and Minimally Invasive Surgery of the Hand & Wrist in 2023 — a beautiful full circle moment. 🤍

Certification is more than a credential. It is about learning together, refining our skills and preparing ourselves for what lies ahead.

Deeply grateful to our colleagues at TINAVI and Beijing Jishuitan Hospital, and to this wonderful team for being part of this journey.

We learn today, so we can shape tomorrow. 🤖✨

Some experiences stay with you long after they are over.

I feel incredibly honoured and grateful to be one of the 2026 David Chuang Peripheral Nerve Travelling Scholars. Learning from the legendary Prof. David Chuang has been a true privilege—not only for his extraordinary mastery of peripheral nerve surgery, but also for his generosity in teaching and mentoring the next generation.

It was equally inspiring to learn alongside Prof. Wayne Morrison and the exceptional faculty at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital Linkou and the Taiwan Society of Plastic Surgery .1982 .The complexity of the cases, particularly in thoracic outlet syndrome and brachial plexus pathology, challenged us to think more deeply and reminded me how much there is still to learn.

I was so fortunate to share this journey with my wonderful partner, .ldx Amandine Ledoux. Together, we experienced the warmth of Taiwanese hospitality , unforgettable meals, countless moments of laughter, and friendships that made this scholarship even more meaningful.

Thank you to everyone who invested their time, knowledge and kindness in us. I return home inspired, humbled, and even more committed to the pursuit of excellence in peripheral nerve surgery.

Looking forward to continuing this journey in November with Prof. Tommy Chang at CGMH Linkou.

🌍🤝 East meets West in wrist surgery—and the conversations promise to be lively.

Excited to be co-moderating the Top-Cited Wrist Papers: Carpal Pathology Joint Journal Club with Matthew Brown (Edinburgh, UK), in a collaboration between the British Society for Surgery of the Hand and the Asia Pacific Wrist Association.

We’ll be diving into standout papers from the Journal of Hand Surgery (European Volume) and the Journal of Wrist Surgery, with a truly global panel spanning Thailand, China, the US, and beyond.

Different systems. Different techniques. One shared goal: better wrist care.
