As a dancer, movement has always been part of my life.
It has given me joy, confidence, friendship, and a way to express myself.
But somewhere along the way, exercise also became connected to burning calories.
Doing more.
Pushing harder.
Trying to stay smaller.
For a long time, I thought that was the goal.
Today I think about exercise differently.
It helps me become stronger, more capable, and more resilient now and for the decades to come.
I love showing my daughters that movement is simply part of life.
I love staying active alongside them.
Trying new things together.
Joining them on the football pitch.
Taking on the occasional handstand challenge.
Because exercise is no longer about changing how my body looks.
It’s about how I want to live.
I want to feel strong.
Energetic.
Confident.
Capable.
Today.
And for the decades ahead.
Because the habits we build in midlife shape how we experience the second half of life.
And building a strong, healthy body takes more than one type of movement:
💪 Strength
❤️ Cardio
🚶♀️ Daily movement
🧘♀️ Mobility
🦴 Impact
Not perfection.
Not extremes.
Just consistent investment in yourself.
