JUSTCO Wellness Journey: Your Blueprint to a Balanced Workday
(In Collaboration with Real Health Medical Singapore, Luli Singapore, and JustCo Singapore)

Desk-bound and feeling the strain? 💻✈️
Running a business, managing a digital storefront, or navigating back-to-back meetings shouldn't mean sacrificing your physical health. For high-stress entrepreneurs, frequent flyers, and modern professionals, "tech neck," lower back fatigue, and afternoon brain fog have almost become occupational hazards.

That’s why Real Health Medical Singapore, Luli Singapore, and JustCo Singapore are teaming up for a special wellness roadshow designed to help you Reset, Realign, and Recharge.

Join us for the “JUSTCO Wellness Passport” experience—where modern chiropractic care meets TCM wisdom and Functional beverage.

🗓 Date: 3 Sep 2026 (Thursday)
⏰Time: 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
📍Location: JustCo, 6 Raffles Boulevard, #03-308 Marina Square, Singapore

How the "JUST-Wellness Passport" Works:
When you step into our screening area, you’ll receive your mini passport card to stamp as you complete three personalized care stations:
• Station 1 | Chiropractic Posture Check: Target structural misalignments, upper cross syndrome ("desk posture"), and spinal joint lockups from hours at a hot desk.
• Station 2 | TCM Constitution Diagnosis: Discover your unique energy blueprint via a quick pulse and tongue check, addressing Qi stagnation, damp-cold accumulation from office air-con, and stress-induced fatigue.
• Station 3 | Functional Herbal Nourishment: Experience the "Food is Medicine" philosophy in action. Enjoy a custom herbal brew voucher provided by our featured holistic partner, Luli Singapore, according to Physician Sanye’s “functional prescription” to nourish your body from within.

Who Is This For? (Addressing the Modern Workday Burnout)
We see you—and we know what your body is carrying:
• Tech Neck & Spinal Strain: Forward head posture and tight shoulders from multi-screen setups.
• Lower Back Stress: Pelvic imbalances and lumbar tension from prolonged sitting in office chairs.
• Entrepreneur Fatigue: Sympathetic nervous system overload ("fight-or-flight" mode), anxiety, and disrupted sleep cycles.
• Digestive Sluggishness & Brain Fog: Irregular meal timings, caffeine dependency, and spleen qi deficiency caused by modern convenience diets.

It’s time to stop normalizing desk pain and start optimizing how you move, rest, and fuel your day.

👇 Save your spot or drop by during your lunch break on 3 Sept! Let’s stamp your passport to better health.

Balance Over Restriction 🌿

Practical tips to enjoy processed noodles without compromising your health goals.

As a TCM practitioner who also practices Functional Medicine, I don't believe processed noodles need to be completely avoided. Instead, focus on the type, portion, and what you eat with them.

🍜 1. Let noodles be the side, not the star.

Keep processed noodles to about 10–20% of your plate.

Fill the rest with:
🥩 Quality protein
🥬 Plenty of colourful vegetables
🌱 Fibre-rich whole foods

🧠FM: This improves satiety, helps regulate blood sugar, and lowers the overall calorie density of the meal.

🌅 TCM: Pairing noodles with protein and vegetables supports the Spleen and Stomach while reducing the formation of Dampness.

🌾 2. Choose less processed noodles.

Not all noodles are equal.

✅ Better choices:
• Fresh rice noodles/ mee tai bak
• Wholegrain / buckwheat noodles

⚠️ Limit ultra-processed instant noodles, which are typically higher in sodium, refined oils and food additives.

🧠FM: The closer a food is to its natural form, the fewer additives it usually contains and the better its nutritional quality.

☀️ 3. Have them earlier in the day.

If possible, enjoy processed noodles at breakfast or lunch.

🧠 FM: Your brain is a major consumer of glucose. Eating carbohydrates earlier means they're more likely to be used as fuel while you're working and moving throughout the day.

🌅 TCM: Digestive Yang Qi is strongest during the day, making it a better time to process heavier carbohydrate-rich meals.

❤️ The takeaway
You don't need to eliminate processed noodles—just be mindful of how you eat them.

✔ Keep noodles to 10–20% of your plate.
✔ Prioritise vegetables and quality protein.
✔ Choose less processed over ultra-processed noodles.
✔ Enjoy them earlier in the day whenever possible.

Healthy eating isn't about restriction—it's about building a better plate.

🧑🏻‍⚕️NEW CLINICAL ROLE

I'm honoured and excited to begin my new clinical role at .

What drew me here was more than a shared vision for integrative healthcare and clinical excellence. It was the culture, grounded in the values of 仁 (compassion and people-oriented) and 和 (harmony and balance).

From my interview through onboarding, I've experienced these values firsthand through the genuine warmth, kindness, and support of EVERYONE on the team.

Culture starts with leadership, but it is sustained by every individual who lives it. One message from our Chief Physician I Ta Chu, has stayed with me:

"We leave no one behind. Carry the Real Health culture and care forward." 🚢

I'm grateful and excited to grow🧑🏻‍🌾, share🤝, and serve🤲🏻 together with this incredible team. 😊

"Eating healthy is just too expensive." ~ It’s one of the most common statements I hear.

When you look strictly at Cost per Calorie:
- Processed foods appear to be the obvious financial win. They offer quick, dense energy for a lower upfront price tag.

However, looking at food solely through the lens of calories leaves out a crucial variable: Nutrient Density.

When we shift the perspective to Cost per Nutrient:
- Whole Foods yield far higher value per dollar in essential vitamins, minerals, fiber, and biological nourishment.
- Processed Foods deliver low nutritional return for their price, often leading to hidden long-term costs for energy levels, metabolic health, and overall well-being.

Before making your next choice at the grocery store, consider asking: Am I buying empty energy, or am I investing in functional nourishment?

Making an informed decision starts with shifting how we measure value.

🌈 Reflecting on a Meaningful Chapter: Gratitude for my time at Thomson Medical 🩺✨

As I wrap up my journey with Thomson Medical for now, I look back with immense gratitude. Joining this organization was a pivotal step, and it has been an absolute pleasure working alongside such a wonderful community.

Reflecting on this chapter, I am incredibly thankful for the opportunities that allowed me to grow both as a clinician and a professional:

🟢 Empowering the Community: Thank you for entrusting me to speak at corporate events and community talks. Educating and empowering people toward positive lifestyle changes has been deeply fulfilling.
🟢 Clinical Evolution: This experience broadened my practice from women’s health to caring for entire families. It ultimately inspired me to dive further into Functional Medicine, deepening my commitment to integrative, holistic care.
🟢 Product Development: I loved diving into holistic product development—from formulating our confinement soups and teas, to repackaging our footbath soaks and herbal balms.

None of this would have been possible without incredible structural and operational support:

🟣 To my HOD & the Corporate Team: Thank you for your guidance, trust, and backend support that allowed me to execute these initiatives smoothly.
🟣 To the Clinic PSO Team: Thank you for navigating the busiest days by my side. I’m so grateful for your hard work, dedication, and the amazing care you gave our patients. We grew so much together!
🟣 To the Woodleigh Mall Management: Thank you for maintaining a clean, peaceful, and optimal environment for our patients' treatments.
🟣 To my Patients: Thank you for your vulnerability, trust, and commitment to your health. Sharing your journeys with me allowed for accurate diagnoses and the best results. It has been an honor partnering with you.

As we all move into different chapters ahead, I wish the management, my colleagues, and my patients continuous success, happiness, and good health! 🥂💪

Warm regards,
Physician Sanye 🌹 😇

Men’s Fertility Food Pyramid

I’m loving the new food pyramid style and inspired to create this version for men’s reproductive health!

While the pyramid gives us the 'what,' TCM helps us with the 'how' and 'when' based on your specific constitution. Minor adjustments can make a major difference in how your body absorbs these nutrients.

🚀 Always check in with your TCM physician to make those minor tweaks that fit your body constitution.

🌈 Eat the Rainbow during Confinement

In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), we follow the Five Colour Food Theory. This isn't just a culinary aesthetic; it’s a functional roadmap to healing the body from the inside out. Each color corresponds to a specific organ system and vital function, making it the ultimate "superfood" guide for the confinement period.

🥢 Why the 5 Colours Matter:

⚫ Black for Kidneys:
Black chicken, Black beans and black sesame are the "power players" for bone health and preventing postpartum hair loss.

🟢 Green for Liver:
Leafy greens help regulate "Qi" (energy) flow and aid in detoxification—perfect for balancing postpartum hormones.

🟡 Yellow for Spleen & Stomach:
Ginger, pumpkin and sweet potato support digestion and help the body absorb nutrients efficiently.

⚪ White for Lungs:
Fish, lotus seed or white fungus support respiratory health and skin elasticity.

🔴 Red for Heart:
Red dates and goji berries are essential for nourishing the blood and improving circulation after delivery.
