Natalia Rachel

Natalia Rachel Writer. Poet. Speaker. Educator. Peace and Power Above All. Her messages distill over 20 years of her own lived self-mastery.

Natalia Rachel shares her voice to begin to remedy the world’s state of hustle, trauma, disconnect, and disrespect. Her insights into the human condition and our profound need for healing, self-compassion, empathy, and human connection, inspire audiences to awaken their hearts, illuminate their patterns and step forward towards self-care and relational repair. Natalia Rachel brings an amalgamation

of knowledge from years working as a therapist and clinic director with a focus on trauma & abuse recovery, as well as her own personal journey recovering from mental health misdiagnosis and physical health conditions that stemmed from childhood trauma. She is a proud recipient of the Women Icons Asia Award (emerging entrepreneur) for social impact in the domain of trauma-informed culture transformation & self-mastery education. Her desire to answer the existential questions ‘Why am I?’, ‘Why are you?’, and ‘Why are we?’, started at age 7, and later led her on an incredible journey exploring mainstream & mental healthcare, complementary health care and the spectrum of spirituality and the healing arts. Her professional career commenced in brand & consumer psychology and copywriting. Her calling card was her ability to express complex concepts in accessible and interesting ways and ignite thought and impulse in her audience. As she entered motherhood, she took time off to focus on her children’s formative years and her own personal healing journey. Embarking on a second career, Natalia chose to study as a hypnotherapist and regression therapist, and craniosacral therapist. Fascinated by the mind-body connection and the existential human experience led her to explore trauma, attachment, and somatics and develop her career as a leading voice in trauma recovery, post-traumatic growth & transformation. She also developed the modality ‘Trauma-informed Relational Somatics’ which has been adopted as an integrative tool by therapists around the world. Making her mark on the Singapore healthcare landscape, Natalia built the Soma Clinic brand as the go-to destination for clients suffering from non-diagnostic conditions or symptoms that were non-responsive to mainstream care. Her work as a Clinic Director to illuminate stress & trauma as the root cause of our personal and relational dysfunction opened conversations and avenues for care and recovery for thousands of patients and clients. She continues to place a focus on training healthcare and mental health professionals on trauma-informed care in the hope that medical and social systems will slowly develop policies that are sorely needed to break inter-generational cycles of survival, threat, and trauma. As the world was turned upside down by the Covid Pandemic, Natalia knew that a paradigm shift was required, and so Illuma Health was born. The organization seeks to ‘repair and revitalize the way we look after ourselves and each other.’ The three pillars of business include an online therapy marketplace (specific to trauma, attachment, and somatic therapy), corporate mental health & culture transformation programs, and online education & content development. Natalia believes that in this polarized world where one-to-one human service is grossly unavailable, that content is key. Natalia is personally called on to consult with the world’s leaders to create systemic change and promote personal sustainability and collective vitality. Natalia Rachel is frequently called on to speak and facilitate workshops that inspire a proactive approach to healing and a collective shift towards peace and power. All her work highlights the undoubtable link between mind, body, spirit, and relationships. Her topics include belonging, mental health, trauma & trauma-informed culture, boundaries respect & power, empathy compassion & vulnerability. All her talks blend concepts from science, psychology, interpersonal neurobiology, philosophy, and spirituality in an engaging, accessible format that includes conceptual learning, experiential process, story, self-inquiry, and self-care tool kit development. Audiences walk away feeling energized, hopeful, and empowered to walk their own path of mastery and become accountable for their social footprint. All of her work stems from a desire to support a shift from oppression and suppression, to empowerment and expression, with relationship as the cornerstone for change.

Other Lovers is making waves around the globe.

From Sydney, to Singapore and soon Berlin and New York, my first romance fiction novel is catching wind 🫶

I’ve loved every event, every conversation (whether deep and profound, or sassy and spicy).

This isn’t just a book. It’s a statement on love in the modern world. An invitation to flip the script, heal and write a new chapter on what love looks like… one that’s far more up to date, nuanced and in line with how we are evolving as humans.

It seems that the book has life far beyond its pages, transitioning into non-fiction multi media, in person salon events where we heal in real time, poetry writing workshops and even now a cross-over into a cinematic docu-series.

I’m looking forward to seeing how this body of work continues to evolve globally… as well as the up and coming launch of book 2 in the trilogy, No Other Lovers, which launches shortly after I return home to Sydney.

Big thanks to all who have supported my work, collaborated or invested their energy in one way or another.

If you haven’t yet read it, make sure you grab your copy… and if you’d like to bring an event to your community, drop me a note.

🫶

It all comes down to love… always 💓

Unpack your love life with me live in NYC 🇺🇸

After listening to people’s stories for many years behind closed doors; I’m looking forward to bringing a much needed conversation to film.

The desire
The heartbreak
The old patterns that we keep sabotaging
The cruel paradigm of clicks, swipes, discards… always looking for something better
The ways we keep attaching to check lists and outdated ideas of what partnership means in an up to date paradigm
And the deep inner work of learning to show up differently.
Conscious. Committed. Paving the way for something new.

In collaboration with 383 studios, we’re filming this cinematic docu-series pilot on August 10… and we’re looking to work with people who are open to sit around a table with me and get real. Deep. Intentional.

If you’d like to be involved in the project, register at the link or email us at [email protected]

What do you think? Will you join me?

Very excited to be returning home to Australia and running this workshop for the first time on my home soil 🇦🇺

In this one day workshop, we’ll delve into trauma-informed touch, so that your touch practise becomes safe, intentional and restorative. 🙌🏼

➡️This workshop is a pre-cursor to my foundational Trauma-informed Relational Somatics (TIRS), a two module professional development training designed for practitioners supporting clients to heal from trauma.
TIRS will also be running for the first time in Australia next year!

📍Both corses will be held in Adelaide CBD

We are living in a time where love seems more illusive than ever.

➡️Maybe it’s the smoke and mirrors of the digital app-driven world we live in.

➡️But maybe it’s deeper.

➡️Maybe it’s our conditioning. Our wounds. Our trauma.

➡️Or maybe modern love is currently in reinvention mode, and we haven’t quite figured out how to structure and show up in relationships in ways that are in line with who we really wish to be.

➡️Maybe it’s a strange mix of all these things.

👉Following the release of my latest book ‘Other Lovers’ and the accompanying multi-media series ‘Heal for Love’, I’m excited to embark on a new journey that includes you!

👉In partnership with 383 Studios and Director/Producer Blake Babbit, I’m working on a heart-led docuseries exploring love and dating in the modern world.

I’ll be on board as both facilitator/guide, and executive producer… my first foray into film
🎥 🙌

👉I can’t wait to sit down with open minded and open hearted singles who are ready to redesign their love lives.

👉We are now casting for 6 individuals for test pilot filming in New York this August. 🇺🇸

👉If you’re dating and feel the call to join us, fill up the expression of interest. We’d love to hear from you!

🗓️You’ll need to be available for a full day of filming between 8-11 August.

👉I’m excited, curious and have got all the feels, just thinking about this.

👉In a world that rewards fast, furious, Disney-style romance that is rarely real or sustainable, it’s time to invest in something slower, deeper and more authentic.
