Sometimes our eyes perceive what we want to see 👁️

It’s easy to write this off as something supernatural, but there may be a medical explanation: monocular diplopia. Cataracts can sometimes cause double or “ghost” images due to changes in the eye’s optics, which may affect how clearly you see and judge objects around you ⚠️

Is an eyelash constantly poking your eye? Your eyelashes might be growing inwards rather than outwards 👁️

What you are experiencing could be trichiasis. While applying lubricating eye drops or ointments can help to soothe mild cases, moderate to severe trichiasis carries a real risk of scratching your cornea.
