Would you feel more comfortable seeing a female chiropractor?
For some women, this is more than a simple preference.
You may feel more at ease discussing pregnancy-related discomfort, postnatal changes, pelvic or lower-back concerns, treatment positions, physical contact, or cultural and religious considerations with another woman.
That is completely valid.
But being female does not automatically make someone a better chiropractor. Comfort matters—but so do training, experience, communication and clinical judgement.
Before choosing a chiropractor, ask:
• Where did she train?
• How much clinical experience does she have?
• Will she assess you before recommending treatment?
• Will she explain what chiropractic can—and cannot—help?
• Will she refer you elsewhere when necessary?
At Re:Chiropractic Singapore, your first visit begins with listening and an individual assessment. Depending on what we find, care may involve chiropractic, manual therapy, movement guidance, home exercises, other appropriate services or medical referral.
Not every patient needs the same treatment.
I want women to feel comfortable explaining what they are experiencing, confident that they have been properly assessed, and never pressured into care that is not suitable for them.
