✨ Nothing happens to us. Everything happens for us. But only 100% of the time ✨

A teaching I was reminded of recently - and one that life has been asking me to actually live, not just admire…

Cancelled flights. Legal hurdles around our UK home. A parent moving onto palliative care. The plans we’d organised slowly dissolving. And the same question rising underneath it all - can I trust that even this is part of something bigger?

My recent article on Substack is an honest reflection on trusting life when the ‘plan’ begins to unravel - and how a daily practice can help us stay anchored, take grounded action and meet uncertainty without being consumed by it.

When life gives you lemons... have a yagya 🍋✨🔥

Not to bypass the mess or skip the hard bits. But to call in a little extra relief when life feels a lot. Which lately it has.

No surprises really - in Vedic astrology (known as Jyotish), Rahu, Ketu and Saturn are all transiting unfavourably through my chart right now.

At times like this I lean deeper into my daily practices - asana, meditation, puja, grounding in nature and surrendering to the moment I’m in, rather than the one I’d prefer to be in. They take me inward towards more compassion and kindness, rather than spiralling into frustration and fear.

That’s the beauty of these practices - they don’t pull us out of life, they help us meet it - with more calm, trust and presence.

And sometimes you call in a little extra support…
On Monday, a yagya was performed in my honour in Varanasi, India - 27 pundits, 135,000 mantra repetitions and intention for each planet, held over 8 hours. In the Vedic tradition, a yagya is an ancient ritual using mantra, intention and sacred fire to help purify (burn karma), harmonise energy and give a little support to what’s unfolding.

Even from miles away in Australia, the energy was palpable. Of course it was. We’re all frequency, vibration, energy - none of it bound by time or space.

So when life gives you lemons...
Sometimes you make lemonade.
Sometimes you get on your mat.
Sometimes you meditate.
Sometimes you sit on the earth and breathe.

And sometimes... you have a yagya 🍋✨🤌🏽
What do you do when life gives you lemons? I’d love to hear 💛💛

I really love 1:1 sessions.

There’s something so special about meeting someone exactly where they’re at - working with what’s needed in the moment, rather than fitting into a set programme.

This session was a Vedic meditation refresher, along with Vedic rounding (an advanced practice combining asanas, pranayama and meditation to deepen the experience). It was shaped around the student’s schedule, her pace and where she is in her practice right now.

Because life doesn’t always line up with set course dates - and there’s always another way.

Group sessions have their own magic, but 1:1 allows something deeper to unfold.

If timings don’t work, or you’d love something more personal, just reach out and we’ll figure it out together. Whether you’re finding your way back to your practice, wanting to go a little deeper, or simply curious about where to begin - there’s always space for you here ✨
