Adventist Hospital Parenthood Workshop 2026|Before Baby Arrives, We Also Need to Learn How to Care for Mother
Before welcoming a baby, many families prepare everything with so much love.
Baby clothes.
Feeding items.
Confinement meals.
The baby room.
But sometimes, we may forget one important thing:
🤱🏻 A mother’s body also needs to be prepared, cared for, and supported.
iBidan was honoured to be invited to Parenthood Workshop 2026 hosted by Adventist Hospital, where we shared practical postnatal recovery knowledge with parents-to-be.
One of the most touching moments was when our professional Bidan began demonstrating how to help a mother get up safely, and how to gently relieve shoulder, neck and back tension.
At that moment, the whole room suddenly came alive.
Many expecting fathers and mothers watched closely, learned seriously, and actively took part in the demonstration.
It was a beautiful moment for us.
Because what we saw was not just learning.
We saw families who truly wanted to understand how to care for the mother better after childbirth.
After delivery, a mother may experience back pain, shoulder tension, body weakness, lack of sleep and emotional changes.
This does not mean she is being difficult.
It means her body is recovering.
Sometimes, the right way to help her get up, a gentle support, or a caring word from the family can make a mother feel understood, supported and loved.
🧡 Caring for baby is important.
🧡 Caring for mother is just as important.
Thank you Adventist Hospital for creating such a meaningful platform for families to learn how to care for mothers before the baby arrives.
May every mother feel gently supported, cared for and confident throughout her recovery journey.
