❌ One of the biggest mistakes in youth sports?
Training girls and boys the same way.

👧 Girls
Before the age of 12, girls are often able to handle higher training volumes, develop fitness faster, and make rapid progress.
This is the ideal time to build:
⚡ endurance
⚡ athletic capacity
⚡ a broad movement foundation

After 12, the focus should gradually shift.
Success is no longer about doing more — it's about doing it better.
🎯 technical precision
🎯 movement quality
🎯 consistency
Without this transition, progress often stalls and motivation can drop.

👦 Boys
Before the age of 12, chasing performance is not the priority.
Instead, boys should focus on:
🎯 technique
🎯 coordination
🎯 movement accuracy

Childhood is the golden window for learning and refining movement skills.
As puberty begins and testosterone levels rise, the opportunity to develop physical performance increases dramatically:
💪 strength
⚡ speed
🚀 power

Boys with a strong technical foundation thrive during this stage.
Those without it often struggle to keep up.

The goal isn't to build the best 10-year-old athlete.
The goal is to develop capable, resilient, and responsible young people who are prepared for both sport and life.

ONE DAY -> the season ends.
DAY ONE -> the next one begins.

Every season ends the same way.
One day… it’s over.
The noise, the pressure, the routine you lived in for months — suddenly gone. And for a moment, there’s space. Space to recover, to slow down, to step out of performance mode.
That “one day” matters more than most athletes think.
Because what you do in that phase — how you rest, reset, and rebuild — defines what comes next.
And then, without much warning, it shifts.

Day one.
Back to structure. Back to preparation. Back to showing up with intent.
But day one doesn’t start when training begins.
It starts much earlier — in how well you allowed yourself to switch off when the season ended.

The athletes who come back ready aren’t the ones who never stopped.
They’re the ones who knew exactly when to.

Nobody talks enough about the emptiness after the season ends.

Your body finally stops.
But your mind is still in competition mode.

Recovery is physical.
But it is mental too.

Behind every strong team is more than just talent.
Lukáš recently worked with the women’s futsal national team as they prepare for the 2026 European Championship qualifiers.
The focus wasn’t just on performance — but on what truly holds a team together when it matters most.

How do you build a team, not just a group of individuals?
What does it actually take to create trust, clarity, and shared responsibility?
And how do you handle the moments that test it — pressure, mistakes, internal tension?
Because those moments will come.

The difference is whether they break the team… or make it stronger.
That’s what this workshop was about.
And that’s where real performance begins.

His flexible approach helps uncover what truly matters, while unhurried sessions create space for trust, honesty, and real progress.

For many clients, he becomes more than a coach — someone they can genuinely rely on.

If Blackie had a post-season routine, it wouldn’t be complicated.
Run hard. Rest properly. Repeat.

No overthinking, no pressure to “stay in shape all the time.” Just understanding that recovery is part of performance.

The season is over — and that’s exactly when the real work begins: slowing down, resetting, and getting ready to go again.
Start your next season the way Blackie would.
Recovered.

Most athletes spend months recovering their body.
Nobody tells them their brain needs to recover too.

This 3-step return ritual takes 3 minutes a day.
Do it every day for one week before you compete again.

Many athletes are used to pushing through. Ignoring signals. Overriding fatigue, discomfort, tension — just to keep performing.

But when they finally start paying attention, something interesting happens.
They notice everything.
Every ache. Every shift. Every signal.
And often — they panic.

Because no one taught them how to interpret what the body is saying.
Not every pain means danger.
Not every discomfort means injury.
And it definitely doesn’t mean you need to push harder.
Sometimes, it’s the opposite.

The body isn’t working against you — it’s protecting you. Guiding you. Giving you information before something more serious happens.

The real skill isn’t just listening.
It’s staying calm enough to understand what you hear.
