A female class teacher was having a serious problem with a boy in Primary 3.
The boy proudly said,
“Madam, I should be in Primary 4. I’m even smarter than my sister, and she’s in Primary 4!” 😌
The teacher had heard enough and took him straight to the principal.
The principal decided to test him.
Principal: What is 7 × 8?
Boy: 56.
Principal: What is the capital of Nigeria?
Boy: Abuja.
Principal: Spell “Responsibility.”
Boy: R-E-S-P-O-N-S-I-B-I-L-I-T-Y.
Principal: What is half of 1,000?
Boy: 500.
The boy got every question right.
The principal smiled and said,
“Madam, promote him to Primary 4 immediately!”
But the teacher wasn’t ready to give up.
Madam: Alright, let me ask my own questions.
Madam: What has hands but can never clap?
Boy: A clock.
Madam: What has many keys but can’t open a single door?
Boy: A piano.
Madam: What gets wetter the more it dries?
Boy: A towel.
Madam: What belongs to you but other people use it more than you do?
Boy: My name.
Madam: What has an eye but cannot see?
Boy: A needle.
Madam: What has a neck but no head?
Boy: A bottle.
Madam: What has teeth but cannot bite?
Boy: A comb.
Madam: What comes once in a minute, twice in a moment, but never in a thousand years?
Boy: The letter “M.”
The principal adjusted his glasses. 👓😳
Madam: Feed me and I live. Give me water and I die. What am I?
Boy: Fire.
Madam: The more you take away from me, the bigger I become. What am I?
Boy: A hole.
The principal slowly removed his cap. 😂
Madam: I have cities but no houses, rivers but no water, forests but no trees. What am I?
Boy: A map.
Madam: What can travel around the world while staying in one corner?
Boy: A postage stamp.
The principal started clapping. 👏🤣
Madam: What can you break without touching it?
Boy: A promise.
Madam: What question can you never answer “yes” to?
Boy: “Are you asleep?”
The principal stood up in amazement.
Then the teacher smiled and asked her final question:
Madam: If there are five birds sitting on a tree and you shoot one, how many are left?
Boy: None.
Madam: Wrong! Four are left.
Boy: No, Madam… the other four flew away because of the gunshot. 😏
The principal burst into laughter and said:
“Madam, don’t just promote this boy to Primary 4… send him straight to the university! At this rate, he’ll be interviewing us next week!” 🤣🤣🤣
Lesson: Intelligence isn’t just about knowing the answer—it’s also about thinking differently! 😂❤️
