But what is it that we think with, yes it's your mind which comprises the cognitive aspect of mental wellbeing. The cognitive aspect entails what we think, how we perceive things, how we reason, our memory, learning and many things that happen in the brain. The cognitive aspect is responsible for your racing thoughts, your delusional thinking, your inability to concentrate and many others. To ensure that the cognitive aspect is at its best we need to take care of it.
Taking care of the cognitive aspect includes but not limited to;
- being aware of your thoughts and intentionally challenging negative thoughts with positive thoughts.

- have enough sleep, the brain needs time to relax and recharge
- exercise, it helps the body release hormones that helps the brain relax
- eat healthy, the brain needs nourishment
- have breaks in your work to increase focus
