If you have a dry, sensitive or acne prone skin, check the ingredient list before you buy your cleanser ( soap and face or body wash). If sodium lauryl sulfate ( SLS) is part of the ingredients in that cleanser, do not buy it. This ingredient makes the skin to be very dry by stripping its natural oil/sebum. Once your skin becomes dry, it will be triggered to produce more oil to the skin surface and this might lead to clogged pores and acne for those who are acne prone. Therefore stay away from products with SLS.

ACNE ON YOUR NOSE

What you should know is that your nose is connected to your lungs and heart. Therefore acne on the nose can be an indication that there is a problem in one of these two organs. Possible causes of nose acne may be stress, high blood pressure or high cholesterol. Another thing u need to note is that the oil glands around the nose are large Therefore, it is very common for pimples and black heads to show up in this area.

How to treat acne on the nose
1. If you are suspecting that your heart or lungs have problems, go and see a doctor immediately.

2. If it is caused by overproduction of sebum/oil from the sebaceous glands then you need something that will get rid of that oil and unclog your pores like salicylic acid glycolic acid or lactic acid. U can use either a face cleanser or toner with one of these ingredients I've mentioned above.

If your forehead acne looks like this👇 and you have been using normal skincare for acne to treat it but it is not responding, It is highly possible that you are deal with fungal acne. In most cases fungal acne does not respond to the normal skincare products that we use on daily bases, it needs some special attention for it to heal.

If you have a dry/sensitive skin, limit washing your face and body with cleanser ( soap or face wash) to atleast once a day. Just rinse your face with warm water in the morning and then apply your serum or cream and your sunscreen then you are good to go💥💫
