It utterly makes my day to hear from the families I've worked with. I always feel so close to their journey, after stepping into their home during those deliciously wonderful but overwhelmingly vulnerable newborn days. And so knowing that they made it - that they're thriving in their breastfeeding groove - gives me the tearies every time.

This dad kindly sent me this video about his family's experience of working with me. It means the world to me, as he puts into words what I always hope to bring: helping parents feel informed, getting to the root of challenges so we can turn them around, and supporting families to find their wings toward their breastfeeding goals. And hats off to the momma in this family, who worked so hard to make this work, and DID IT!!

I offer this service because a lot of breastfeeding questions can be answered without needing a consult, but ChatGPT and Googling can get families in a bit of a spiral. A lot of info online worked great for one family, but may create challenges for you and your baby. Instead, talk to a friendly human who trained for years in this niche specialty, who is able to nuance information to individuals, and who loves to help.

I will provide an answer on the spot if I can. Or I'll ask you some questions first to make sure the info is really relevant and tailored to you. Or I'll point you in the right direction of reliable info sources or providers if that would be the best route.

I run the helpline on Zoom from 5pm-5.45pm on Mondays. It’s free, you can drop in any time to ask your question and drop off when you’re done.

It’s there for pregnant, postpartum and weaning families, and for anyone in between.

You can ask me anything at all related to lactation - concerns, worries, hopes, myths, or if you’re just fascinated. Nothing’s too small, nothing is silly, you’re very welcome to just run anything past me.

Sorry for the very last-minute announcement, but Breastfeeding Café is back! 🎉

Join us tomorrow, Thursday, from 10:30–12:00 at Ceresia Coffee Roasters for a relaxed morning of coffee, conversation, and support. ☕👶

All parents and their non-mobile babies are welcome, regardless of how you feed your baby. 🤱🍼💕

Oshrat and Lia will be there to offer breastfeeding and parenting support, answer questions, or simply have a chat with you.

Please remember that Ceresia kindly provides us with a private space for our gathering, so there is a minimum spend of 200 THB per person. An excellent excuse to enjoy some delicious coffee and treats! ☕🥐😋

We can't wait to see you all and catch up after the summer!

Unfortunately I won't be able to fit it in this week after all as a lot of families are requesting in person support before I go away for the summer.

You are still welcome to reach out if you would like a consult - I will be able to take a small number of online consults while I'm away.

Once back, I'll be at Queen Sirikit National Institute of Child Health on Tuesdays, so will find a new weekly slot for the helpline. I'll do a little survey next month to see what timing might work best for families 🙏

**Breastfeeding Helpline is on holiday this week!**

There is no session on Tue 7 July.

I can take a limited number number of online consults if you need support in that period, otherwise the helpline will be back next week (14th July) to help any families with breastfeeding questions.

The 14th July will be the last session this summer however, as we'll then be travelling for my kids' school break. So if you have any questions and want some free guidance, drop in to the session next week!
