🔍 Are S***m Values Adequate for IUI?
Before starting IUI, a semen analysis is carried out. We look at three main criteria:

1️⃣ Count – at least 15 million s***m per ml
2️⃣ Motility – 42% or more should be motile
3️⃣ Morphology – 4% or more should have a normal shape

❗Even if all is normal, if a couple has been trying for two years without success and no cause is found in the woman, the diagnosis may be “unexplained infertility” and IUI can be suggested.

💡 IUI is also suitable when:
🔹 Count is between 5–10 million
🔹 Motility is around 30–35%
🔹 Morphology is between 1–4%

➡️ Lower values may make IVF a more suitable option.

✨ Ovarian Regeneration with PRP & Exosomes ✨

We recently performed PRP-Exosome therapy on a young expectant mother with low ovarian reserve. 🧬

Exosomes are tiny vesicles containing proteins, mRNA, and microRNAs that facilitate communication between cells. They are gaining attention in regenerative medicine for their potential to improve ovarian function and increase follicular reserve.

🔹 How do they work?

•Promote cell renewal and support follicle activation

•Enhance blood flow in ovarian tissue

•Reduce oxidative stress and protect mitochondrial function

•Inhibit cell death, slowing follicle loss

💡 Preclinical studies and limited human data suggest that exosome therapy may increase AMH levels and help restore ovulatory capacity.

PRP-Exosome treatment is emerging as a promising ovarian regeneration approach due to its low immunogenicity and ease of application. However, more research is needed to determine long-term effects and optimal protocols.

Can You Travel After Embryo Transfer? ✈️🤰

Short and light trips after embryo transfer are generally considered safe. However, it is important to avoid long, exhausting journeys, strenuous physical activity, and stressful situations.

🔹 It is recommended to rest for the first 24-48 hours after transfer.
🔹 Afterwards, short trips may be possible with your doctor’s approval.
🔹 For long flights or challenging travel, always consult your healthcare provider.

Most importantly, listen to your body during pregnancy and follow your doctor’s advice. Wishing you a healthy and peaceful journey! 👩‍⚕️💙

💡 Who Is Suitable for IUI?
IUI is not the right choice for every couple. Some of the key criteria include:
✅ At least one open fallopian tube
✅ A motile s***m count of over 5 million
✅ Only mild endometriosis (e.g., chocolate cysts)
✅ No significant reproductive problems in either partner (unexplained infertility)
✅ AMH level of at least 1.5
✅ Woman’s age under 35

🔍 For women over 35, IUI success rates may decrease — so treatment must be approached more strategically.

No – IUI is not a painful procedure.
