Having better vision in one eye than the other may seem like an advantage, but in some cases, it can be an early sign of underlying eye conditions. In particular, during the early stages of cataract development, one eye may be affected more rapidly while the other continues to see clearly.
Many people do not notice this difference because the brain naturally relies more on the stronger eye, compensating for the reduced vision in the other. As a result, symptoms may go unnoticed and seeking medical attention can be delayed.
If you notice a significant difference in vision between your two eyes, it is important to undergo a comprehensive eye examination to determine the underlying cause.
