📣 She hadn’t smiled in months. Now she laughs every morning over breakfast. What changed? 👇

When Ms. Lorna (Not the client’s actual name) first arrived at our home, she barely spoke. Her shoulders were tense, her eyes stayed down, and every “Good morning” was met with silence.

Her daughter whispered to us, “She hasn’t smiled since my dad passed. I just want her to feel something again.”

We didn’t push. We just showed up, consistently, gently, and with warmth.

👩🏾‍🍳 A caregiver learned how she liked her porridge, thick, with cinnamon.
🎶 Another brought her favorite old songs to life during music hour.
🧘🏾‍♀️ We gave her space, but also an invitation.
A hand to hold. A name remembered. A laugh shared.
Bit by bit, she came back to life.

Today?
She’s the first one at the table in the morning, cracking jokes and humming to the radio.
Her smile? It lights up the whole room. 💛
