FORM ONE THRIVE
A Hello Secondary Support Program

Is your child feeling overwhelmed, disorganised or anxious about entering Form One?
Are they worried about bullying, making friends or fitting into a new school environment? 🎒📚

The transition to secondary school brings new subjects, multiple teachers, heavier workloads, changing friendships and greater responsibility. Some students need more than academic lessons, they need consistent guidance, emotional support and a safe space to discuss their concerns.

FORM ONE THRIVE is an online transition, learning and empowerment programme designed to help students become more organised, confident, emotionally prepared and ready to succeed.

Students will receive support with:
✅ Timetables and organisation
✅ Homework, assignments and projects
✅ Study skills and motivation
✅ Emotional wellness and confidence
✅ Friendships, peer pressure and conflict
✅ Bullying and cyberbullying concerns
✅ Safe reporting and help-seeking strategies
✅ Individual student check-ins
✅ Parental consultations when needed

Students will learn how to recognise bullying, respond safely, communicate assertively, identify trusted adults and seek help without feeling ashamed or alone.

Parents will also have opportunities for brief scheduled consultations to discuss concerns, receive guidance and work collaboratively to support their child’s transition.

🚨 NOW MORE THAN EVER, WE MUST LOOK BEYOND THE BEHAVIOUR.

Many young people are struggling with anger, aggression, substance use, gambling, emotional distress and other high-risk behaviours. Too often, adults see only the behaviour—but behind every troubling action may be an unmet need, an unresolved experience or a young person who does not know how to ask for help.

The Beyond the Behaviour four-week online programme will equip parents, teachers, caregivers, youth workers and community workers with practical strategies to:

✅ Understand what may be driving challenging behaviour
✅ Prevent and de-escalate aggression
✅ Respond to substance use, gambling and other high-risk behaviours
✅ Establish healthy boundaries and meaningful consequences
✅ Support sustainable behaviour change
