🌿 “The goal is there. As long as you are moving in the right direction, you will get there one step at a time.”

Fertility treatment can feel like facing one challenge after another.

How many eggs can be retrieved?
Will the embryos develop to Day 5?

After several unsuccessful transfers, this mother stopped putting pressure on herself to succeed immediately. Instead, she focused on completing each step planned by Dr. Lu Fan.
With his professional guidance and continued support, she finally received the long-awaited good news. Today, she is the happy mother of two lovely children. 💛
Thank you for sharing this meaningful journey and for trusting Dr. Lu and the Taiwan IVF Group team.

💌 A Mother’s Story
There was a time when becoming pregnant felt incredibly difficult, and I did not know when I would finally reach the end of this journey.
When I felt deeply discouraged, I came to Taiwan IVF Group and met Dr. Lu Fan, hoping to give myself one more chance.
Dr. Lu carefully arranged the necessary examinations and created the most suitable treatment plan for me. Every stage felt like another challenge, and waiting for each result was always stressful.
Throughout the process, I could truly feel Dr. Lu’s support. He clearly explained each issue and guided us with professionalism, without making us feel pressured. This allowed me to trust him and move forward with confidence.
After several failed transfers, I stopped constantly thinking, “This time must work.” Instead, I focused on doing my best at each stage.
I told myself:
“As long as the direction is right, I will eventually reach my goal.”
Eventually, the transfer was successful.
I still remember the day Dr. Lu announced my hCG result. I did not scream or cry—I was simply too shocked to believe it!
This year, we also welcomed our second child. Looking at my two lovely children, I feel deeply grateful to Dr. Lu and the entire Taiwan IVF Group team for their guidance, encouragement, and kindness.

🌟 Google Five-Star Review

A journey filled with trust, support, and gratitude 💛
On the fertility journey, medical expertise is important—but sincere support, encouragement, and advice that truly puts patients first can mean just as much.
In this Google five-star review, one of our patients shared that Dr. Liu YongLiang is one of the best doctors she has ever met, with both outstanding medical expertise and genuine medical ethics.
Throughout their embryo transfer treatment using embryos from another clinic, Dr. Liu patiently accompanied them every step of the way. Even when they faced failure, he never gave up on them and continued to offer heartfelt encouragement, giving them the courage to move forward.
What touched them most was that when they were fortunate enough to conceive naturally, Dr. Liu still placed their best interests first and offered the most appropriate advice—without being influenced by business considerations.
“Meeting Dr. Liu was the greatest blessing in this journey. We are sincerely grateful.”
Thank you to this patient for sharing such a warm five-star review.
For Taiwan IVF Group, every story of trust, every moment of support, and every piece of good news is what keeps us moving forward.
May every family on the fertility journey find hope, direction, and gentle support along the way.

Research presented by Taipei American School student Jeffrey Zi Kang Huang at ESHRE 2026 through an international collaboration among Taiwan IVF Group, Ton Yen General Hospital, and Stanford University.

LONDON, July 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- An international study examining the relationship between ambient air pollution and assisted reproductive technology (ART) outcomes has found that higher exposure to fine particulate matter (PM2.5) is consistently associated with lower clinical pregnancy and live-birth rates across Europe, North America, and East Asia.

The research, conducted by Taiwan IVF Group and Ton Yen General Hospital in collaboration with Professor Barry Behr of Stanford University, was presented at the 42nd Annual Meeting of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE 2026) in London.

The research was presented by Jeffrey Zi Kang Huang, a research intern from Taipei American School (TAS), whose work was selected for presentation at one of the world's premier scientific meetings in reproductive medicine. Jeffrey joined leading clinicians and scientists from around the world to share research exploring the impact of environmental air pollution on fertility treatment outcomes.
The study, "Ambient Air Pollution (PM2.5) and ART Outcomes in Europe: A Cross-Continental Comparison with North America and East Asia," integrated publicly available ART registry data from 2010–2022 with environmental datasets from the World Health Organization (WHO), the European Environment Agency (EEA), and NASA to evaluate the association between PM2.5 exposure and ART outcomes.

The analysis found that regions with higher PM2.5 exposure consistently demonstrated lower ART success rates. Compared with regions experiencing lower pollution levels, clinical pregnancy rates were reduced by approximately 5–12%, while live-birth rates declined by approximately 4–10%, with similar trends observed across all three geographic regions.
Artificial intelligence-assisted analytical methods were used to integrate multiple international datasets and identify cross-regional patterns, highlighting the growing role of AI in biomedical and environmental health research.

"Participating in this research allowed me to see how artificial intelligence and large-scale data analysis can uncover meaningful patterns in reproductive medicine and environmental health. Presenting our research at ESHRE has been an inspiring experience and strengthened my aspiration to pursue a career in medicine and biomedical research," Jeffrey said.

Barry Behr, Professor Emeritus at Stanford University and an internationally recognized expert in reproductive biology and embryology, emphasized the importance of providing talented young students with opportunities to participate in international collaborative research. He noted that early exposure to scientific inquiry and multidisciplinary collaboration helps cultivate the next generation of physician-scientists and biomedical innovators.

The findings contribute to growing evidence that environmental air quality may be an important and potentially modifiable factor influencing reproductive health and fertility treatment outcomes, while demonstrating the value of international collaboration in advancing reproductive medicine.

A heartfelt message from one of our moms brought us so much warmth and gratitude. 💛
Every fertility journey carries its own challenges, hopes, and moments of waiting.
After two to three years of trying to conceive without success, this couple came to Taiwan IVF Group through a friend’s recommendation and met .
Through detailed examinations, they discovered that the mom had polycystic o***y syndrome, while the dad had low s***m motility. After two unsuccessful timed in*******se attempts, they bravely began their IVF journey.
The process was not easy. She went through egg retrieval, hospitalization due to ovarian hyperstimulation, and immune treatment. But with Dr. Lu’s professional care and the continuous support of the Taiwan IVF Group team, they finally welcomed their precious baby girl.
Today, their daughter is 1 year and 3 months old—bright, cheerful, and growing so well.
The mom shared:
“Every time I look at her, my husband and I always say, ‘Thank you, Dr. Lu and the Taiwan IVF Group team, for helping us have this precious happiness.’”
Thank you to this family for sharing such a beautiful story with us.
We wish this lovely little girl health, happiness, and a childhood filled with love. 🌷

如果胚胎染色體異常,有時可能是偶發事件;

🎉 Happy Embryologist Day!
In the IVF journey, behind every doctor’s treatment plan and every hopeful step forward, there is a group of dedicated professionals quietly guarding the very beginning of life—embryologists.
From selecting eggs after retrieval, fertilization, embryo culture and observation, to embryo freezing, thawing, and preparation before transfer, every detail requires exceptional expertise, precision, and patience.
Embryologists may not always stand in the spotlight, but their work carries the deepest hopes of countless families.
In the laboratory, they carefully protect each precious embryo and help many families move one step closer to the possibility of pregnancy. 💛
Behind every embryo that develops steadily, every successful freezing procedure, and every transfer preparation, there is the dedication and professionalism of an embryologist.
On this special day, we would like to thank every embryologist for being such an essential part of the IVF journey with your skilled hands and gentle care.
Happy Embryologist Day!
Thank you for quietly lighting up hope at the very beginning of life. ✨

“My uterus is only half the size of yours,
but happiness can still be complete.”

What would you do if your uterus were only half the size of a typical uterus?
This couple had been married for over six years and had tried to conceive for a year without success.
Although she was young, her AMH level was very high, suggesting a tendency toward polycystic o***y syndrome. Her left fallopian tube was blocked. During hysteroscopy, only one side of the uterus could be seen, while the other side was not visible.
Because she had previously undergone hysteroscopic surgery for polyp removal, we initially suspected either a unicornuate uterus or severe intrauterine adhesions.
To better understand her condition, we asked her to retrieve previous imaging records from another hospital. However, the available images were limited and could not fully clarify the diagnosis.
Later, through further examinations including hysterosalpingography, we confirmed that she had a unicornuate uterus.
If a typical uterus is like a double room, hers was like a single room—about half the size of most women’s.
She then underwent IVF treatment. We successfully froze several blastocysts, and genetic testing also identified chromosomally normal embryos.

Because of her unicornuate uterus, before embryo transfer we used 4D ultrasound to reconstruct a three-dimensional image of her uterus. We also discussed the optimal embryo transfer location with our chief ultrasound technologist.
Later, through a natural-cycle embryo transfer, one chromosomally normal embryo was transferred—and she became pregnant successfully.
She recently delivered her baby safely. Thank you to this couple for sharing such wonderful news with me. I am truly grateful.
Although her uterus was only half the usual size, with a good embryo, the chance of pregnancy was not reduced by half. 💛

Three little horses brought three times the happiness! 🐴🐴🐴💛
After three years of trying to conceive, this mom came to Taiwan IVF Group through a colleague’s recommendation.
At first, Dr. Lu arranged a three-month timed in*******se plan. After it did not succeed, they moved on to IVF.
Her first transfer with a PGS-tested embryo was unsuccessful, but she did not give up. During the second transfer, two untested embryos were placed—and soon after, she received the biggest surprise: !
Although the pregnancy came with both joy and worry, the three babies showed incredible strength. They were safely delivered at 32 weeks and 5 days, and are now four months old, healthy, chubby, and adorable.
The mom shared:
“Thank you to Taiwan IVF Group and Dr. Lu for helping me welcome three little babies on my IVF journey!”
Behind every fertility journey are moments of uncertainty, waiting, and courage.
Thank you to this brave mom for sharing her beautiful story with us.
Wishing these three little babies health, happiness, and three times the love as they grow. 🌷
