Using the hand-over-hand technique, our residents enjoyed crafting these beautiful birdhouses while building confidence, encouraging independence, and expressing their creativity. Every brushstroke and finishing touch is something to be proud of!

🏆🥇 First Place Goes to Peaceful Pines! 🥇🏆

We are thrilled to share that Peaceful Pines earned 1st Place at the Monmouth County Fair! 🎉

A special congratulations to Joan, one of our incredible Activities team members, whose creativity and guidance helped bring this award-winning project to life. We are also so proud of our wonderful residents, who worked alongside Joan to create this beautiful piece. Their teamwork, talent, and dedication truly paid off!

We’re so proud to share that our talented residents have entered two amazing projects into the Monmouth County Fair! 🎉💙

Our first entry is a beautiful handmade wreath, created by our residents with the help of our wonderful Activities team member, Joan. Using clothes, pens, and coffee filters, they transformed everyday items into a one-of-a-kind work of art that truly showcases their creativity and teamwork.

Our second entry is a special poetry book, created by our residents alongside Diana from our Activities team. This heartfelt collection reflects their stories, creativity, and unique voices.

Both entries will be on display at the Monmouth County Fair from Wednesday, July 22 through Sunday, July 26 at the East Freehold Showgrounds.

If you’re attending the fair, be sure to stop by and check out these incredible creations! We’re so proud of everyone involved and are keeping our fingers crossed for a 🥇 first-place ribbon!

Watching our young visitors share smiles, stories, and card games with our residents reminds us that every generation has something valuable to give. These moments create lasting memories, meaningful connections, and plenty of laughter along the way.
