Connecting and being present in your body might be the shift you've been craving.
Last night a student of mine shared that her back feels stiff after being in reclined poses, but feels good during them. So we explored a few poses to help bring that connected awareness of how the muscles from the back of the neck all the way down to the calves are connected to eachother.
After each pose I asked her what she felt, experienced & where. It was eye opening for her as she began to see how the back, glutes, & hamstrings affected eachother in different poses.
When you get curious about how your body moves and observe your experience you become present instead of just going through the motions. So you become aware of your thoughts, feelings, & what you need. Which means you'll feel better about yourself & feel empowered to listen to your inner wisdom.
