Welcome to The Bee's Knees Apiary, where the powerful healing properties of bees meet the tranquility of nature. We specialize in bee therapy, an innovative wellness experience that offers numerous health benefits through the unique vibrations of active beehives. Bee therapy involves resting o

r sleeping in specially designed beds placed directly over active bee hives. The gentle vibrations produced by the bees’ wings, along with the healing air from the hive, provide a natural, bioresonance-based therapy that promotes deep relaxation and rejuvenation. The Healing Benefits
Bee therapy has a profound healing effect on the body. After just one session, you may experience a noticeable reduction in stress and fatigue, improved sleep quality, and an overall sense of well-being. With regular sessions, bee therapy helps:

šŸReduce emotional stress, depression, and anxiety

šŸStrengthen the immune system and restore vitality

šŸClear the lungs and alleviate cold symptoms

šŸImprove joint health and reduce pain

šŸBalance blood pressure and improve circulation

šŸEnhance metabolism and support detoxification

šŸCombat age-related diseases, including musculoskeletal and cardiovascular issues

šŸAid in cancer recovery and support overall healing

The vibrations from the bees essentially promote a natural self-healing process, helping the body restore balance and function at a higher level. By spending time near the hive, your body rebuilds its cellular health, making it more resilient to disease and stress. How Does It Work? Bees create micro-vibrations when they fan their wings to evaporate moisture from the nectar and mature the honey. These vibrations act like a light, soothing massage on the nervous, circulatory, and muscular systems. The air near the hive is rich in negative ions and cleansed of harmful microbes, promoting respiratory health and clearing toxins from the body. Suggested Frequency
To experience the full benefits, we recommend 10 one-hour sessions. Sessions can be repeated daily for ongoing wellness. Bee Therapy is Beneficial for:

šŸHigh emotional stress and fatigue

šŸInsomnia, panic attacks, and anxiety

šŸPulmonary and heart diseases

šŸHormonal changes and atherosclerosis

šŸRehabilitation after surgery

šŸImproving overall vitality and reducing the effects of aging

Join us at The Bee's Knees Apiary and experience the soothing, healing power of bees in a peaceful, restorative environment. šŸŒ»šŸ’«

I often tell people not to heat honey because it will lose its medicinal benefits. Recently, I examined how heat affects vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and enzymes. Antioxidants start losing potency above 140°F. Vitamins degrade at different levels—vitamin C breaks down around 104°F, B vitamins around 140°F, and fat-soluble vitamins around 120°, except vitamin E, which drops near 100°. Enzymes, vital for digestion, degrade as low as 95°F and are mostly gone by 140°F. Without these enzymes, free radicals—harmful molecules that damage our cells and DNA—aren't neutralized as effectively. Thus, if we lose these enzymes, free radicals have more opportunity to harm our cells and DNA. And while antioxidants help protect us, they also degrade above 140°F. Similarly, if you heat honey above 94°F, all these benefits decline. Store-bought liquid honey is often heated to keep it smooth, but once it surpasses these temperatures, it loses its full medicinal power. That’s why raw honey is best—if it’s been canned or overheated, it’s lost a big part of its health benefits. So, don’t plan to add honey to hot tea or coffee!

We’re all familiar with honey and its numerous health benefits, and we know just how good it is for our bodies. However, we often overlook another incredible bee product: propolis. This remarkable substance offers a wealth of benefits that we might not always remember. Propolis is a fascinating substance that bees produce. It’s a resinous material that bees gather from tree buds, sap flows, or other botanical sources, and they use it to seal and protect their hives.
Benefits of Propolis:
1. Immune Support: Propolis is known for its immune-boosting properties. It can help strengthen the immune system and help the body fight off infections.
2. Antimicrobial Properties: It has natural antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal properties, making it great for fighting off pathogens.
3. Anti-inflammatory Effects: Propolis can help reduce inflammation, which can be beneficial for conditions like sore throats or joint pain.
4. Healing Properties: It’s often used in wound care because it can promote healing and reduce the risk of infection.
5. Antioxidant Benefits: Propolis is rich in antioxidants, helping to combat oxidative stress in the body.
How to Use Propolis:
• Tinctures: You can make alcohol-based or water-based tinctures to take daily for immune support.
• Ointments and Creams: Propolis can be added to topical ointments to help heal wounds or soothe skin irritations.
• Throat Sprays: It can be included in throat sprays to help alleviate sore throats, tooth pain and fight infections.
Propolis is truly a versatile and powerful natural remedy with a long history of use in traditional medicine.

A couple of recipes especially for cold season:

Honey-Garlic-Ginger Lemon Cold Remedy

Ingredients:
1/2 cap raw honey
4-5cloves of fresh garlic, finely chopped
2 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
juice of 1 large lemon

Instructions:
In a clean glass jar, combine the chopped garlic, grated ginger, and lemon juice.
Pour the raw honey over the mixture, ensuring that everything is well coated.
Stir gently to blend all the ingredients together.
Seal the jar and let it sit for at least 24 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
Take a 1 teaspoon of this mixture daily, especially during cold season, to help boost your immunity and protect your body from colds and other microbe.

Water-Based Propolis Tincture

Ingredients:
1 tablespoon of propolis resin (finely grated or chopped)
1 cup of filtered water
Instructions:
In a small saucepan, bring the filtered water to a gentle boil.
Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before adding the propolis.
Add the grated or chopped propolis to the warm water and stir well.
Let the mixture sit for about 30 minutes, occasionally stirring to help the propolis dissolve.
Strain the mixture through a fine mesh or cheesecloth to remove any solid particles.
Transfer the tincture into a clean glass bottle and store it in the refrigerator.
Usage:
Take about 1 teaspoon of the tincture daily, especially during cold weather, to support your immune system and help protect your body from colds and other microbes.

Horizontal hives, often known as horizontal top-bar hives, offer a unique and natural approach to beekeeping. Some benefits of horizontal hives include easier access for the beekeeper, less heavy lifting since you don’t have to stack boxes, and a more natural environment for the bees. They can also be great for managing bee health and reducing stress on the colony. Overall, horizontal hives are a great option for beekeepers who want a more hands-on, natural, and accessible approach to keeping bees.
I have good experience with using horizontal hives, so if anyone is interested, I can provide plenty of tips and advice on what works best and how to get the most out of them. Also, I will provide more practical information when the hive is accessible in the spring. If you’re curious about anything specific or have questions, feel free to ask!

We all love living bees, but unfortunately, they often perish over winter, succumb to starvation, or meet other unfortunate ends. We shouldn’t let their bodies go to waste; instead, we can use them for great benefit.

In the bodies of these deceased bees, there are many beneficial substances, such as minerals essential for the human body’s vital functions, macro- and microelements, amino acids (more than twenty different types), vitamins A, B group, E, and others. Bee venom, known for its stimulating effect, chitin, which helps block the inflammatory process, and substances that promote the division of hepatocytes (liver cells) are all present. Royal jelly, produced by the bees’ glands, has powerful immunomodulatory effects. Propolis has pain-relieving properties, and wax particles collected from the fruits and bark of fruit trees, along with pollen, help tone the body. The main active component of the bee substrate, chitin, aids in lowering cholesterol levels in the blood, normalizing blood pressure, improving the condition of blood vessels, and also helps reduce allergies.

In this unhealthy and chaotic world, bees play an indispensable role. Their buzzing not only pollinates the flowers and sustains the crops but also provides honey, royal jelly, propolis, pollen, bee bread, wax all filled with natural strength and healing properties. Every drop of honey and every bee product strengthens health and brings relief.
But the magic of the bees goes beyond honey. Even after they’ve departed this world, their bodies and products find use in traditional remedies, supporting joint health, boosting the immune system, and more. The fine powder from dried bees, incorporated into creams and tinctures, becomes a valuable ingredient in natural remedies, offering benefits even after they’re gone.
Moreover, the gentle buzzing of the bees brings a sense of tranquility, creating an atmosphere of harmony and peace. In this way, bees continue to bring benefit both in life and beyond.
