Our family enjoyed a beautiful Christmas service at church today. We never miss the Christmas candle light service. I am disappointed in myself for not making "going to church a priority" year round. While I strongly believe that NOT going to church regularly makes me any less of a Christian, today reminded me that it's something I need to work on more faithfully.

Today's message was partly about peace and the faulty thought that the Bible says anything about Peace on Earth, though we use these words to somehow make believe them into being true.

The truth is the Bible says there will be trials and tribulations on Earth. The verse so widely used incorrectly is Luke 2:14 which says... "on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests (sic).

I have not let go, I have not found or made peace with Michael's brain bleed. Every year, I make it a goal to do just that, but I can't. I want to. I want to stop hurting. I want to accept it. I want to have peace and I've been praying hard that God will grant me peace. But, it hasn't happened for me yet. Am I not in HIS favor? How do I find the peace?
