Good food, great company, and a chance to celebrate an incredible teammate. 🍻

Last night, the Langford crew gathered at Boxing Bear Brewery to celebrate Johnathan and all he has contributed to our team over the years. His dedication to his patients, support of his coworkers, and positive impact on our clinic will be greatly missed.

While we’re sad to see him go, we’re excited for what’s ahead and grateful for the time we’ve had working alongside him. Wishing you nothing but success in your next chapter, Johnathan. Thank you for everything! 👏

Huge congratulations to Ryan and Jimmy (and honorary Langford member Sha) for taking on the Iron Horse Citizens Tour in Durango, Colorado! 🚴‍♂️⛰️

The challenge? Ride from Durango to Silverton and try to beat the historic steam train to the finish. 🚂💨

Way to represent Langford and show what consistency, hard work, and a little grit can accomplish. Great job, Ryan and Jimmy! 👏

Strength, hypertrophy, and power….they’re not the same how you train for each matters 💪

Here’s what you need to know from the latest ACSM resistance training guidelines updated in April 2026.

Whether your goal is to get stronger build muscle or improve power and performance, the biggest drivers of progress are still the basics:
✔️consistency
✔️progressive overload
✔️training with effort and intent
✔️recovery

you don’t need a perfect program. You just need a plan you can stick with and progress over time

Getting up off the floor…it looks different for everybody!

There’s more than one way to get off the floor and how you do it can tell us a lot about your strength, mobility and control.

Our team showed off a few different ways they get off the floor 👇
Which one are you using?

Being able to confidently get up and down from the floor is a key part of staying independent, active, and injury-free at any age.

Jumping, running, lifting… all place real, repeated demand on your pelvic floor.

Your body is designed to handle it—but only if strength, timing, coordination, and relaxation are working together.

When that system isn’t syncing well, symptoms can show up.

🚩 Signs you may benefit from pelvic floor support:
• Leakage with running, jumping, or lifting
• Heaviness or pressure
• Pelvic, groin, or tailbone pain during workouts
• Avoiding or modifying exercise
• Core weakness or doming
• Pain with impact or return to sport

These symptoms are common—but they’re not something you have to live with.

Pelvic floor PT helps you build strength, improve coordination, manage pressure, and get back to doing what you love—without limitations.

If exercise brings symptoms, support is available 💪

Returning to running postpartum (PP) can feel like a long and uncertain road — but the key is remembering that progress happens on your body’s timeline, not anyone else’s. 💙

There’s no one-size-fits-all plan. Factors like sleep, nutrition, breastfeeding, pelvic floor symptoms, and any history of pain all play a role in how your body adapts and progresses.

As you build back:
💡 Pay attention to your symptoms — pain, breath holding, or loss of form are signs you may not be ready to progress yet
💡 Master each phase before moving on
💡 Focus on quality of movement over rushing the timeline

And most importantly — having guidance matters. Working with a pelvic floor physical therapist can help assess your readiness, support your recovery, and safely guide your return to running.
You don’t have to figure it out alone. 💪

We’re excited to share that one of our Clinicians, Steve, recently completed his Level 2 Functional Dry Needling Certification through Evidence In Motion 🎉

This advanced training will expand Steve’s capabilities with higher-level spinal, core, and extremity techniques, allowing him to treat more complex movement and pain patterns with greater precision. Continued education like this ensures we’re always bringing the most current, evidence-based care to our patients.
