Registration has opened for ACA’s Hill Day! It'll be a jam-packed and empowering in-person event, taking place September 16-17 in Washington, D.C. The first day will focus on essential advocacy training to prepare you to meet with legislators and networking opportunities with fellow counselors. The next day, we will convene on Capitol Hill to meet with legislators and share the most important issues facing the counseling profession.

We are also excited to note that registration is FREE for the first 50 ACA Student Members! Take advantage and register today!

Additionally, we're excited to announce the 2026 Hill Day Grant Program! This grant program is designed to support counselors and counseling students' participation in federal advocacy by providing financial assistance to attend this Hill Day event in Washington, D.C.! 🚨 The Counseling Compact has officially gone live in Georgia, marking another significant milestone in expanding access to mental health care! Georgia is the fifth state to grant privileges, joining Arizona, Minnesota, Ohio and Louisiana.

Across the country, 33 additional states and the District of Columbia are actively completing the steps needed to begin issuing and receiving privileges under the Counseling Compact.
