THEY DID A THING 💜

We couldn’t be more proud of our partners at Path to Peace as they take this incredible next step — opening their very own recovery house right in Monroe County 🏡

This has been a goal of theirs for a long time, and seeing it become a reality is something worth celebrating.

At BATTLE BORNE, we believe that real change happens when organizations come together, support one another, and create more pathways for people to find hope, healing, and a better future.

There’s still work ahead as Path to Peace moves through the DDAP licensing process and gets everything in place, but today is about celebrating the accomplishment and the people who helped make it possible.

Congratulations, Evelyn Monica Robles & Path to Peace! 👏🏻

We’re proud to stand alongside you, proud to call you our partners, and excited to see where this next chapter takes you, Trinity Academy Pocono & AMZ Housing Solutions.

Hi friends ❤️

We’re getting ready to start the Battle Borne Walk for Wellness Committee and we’re looking for people who want to be involved and help us make this event happen.

We need people who are willing to give their time, share ideas, help with planning, and just be part of the team. You don’t need any special experience. If you care about what we’re doing and want to help, we’d love to have you.

We’ll meet on Zoom on Tuesdays.

If you’re interested, message us or email [email protected].

Hope to see some familiar faces and some new ones too! ❤️

💪 Fitness Tip Friday: Stop Chasing the Scale! 💪

A message from Frank Banghart Jr., Coach of the BATTLE BORNE Warrior Wellness Program:

One of the biggest mistakes I see is letting the number on the scale determine whether you're making progress.

The scale only tells you your total body weight—not what makes up that weight.

Your weight can fluctuate daily because of:
💧 Water retention
🧂 Sodium intake
🍞 Carbohydrate intake
😴 Sleep quality
💪 Muscle gain
🤕 Inflammation
🚺 Hormonal changes
🍽️ Food still being digested

That means you could be:
✅ Losing body fat
✅ Building muscle
✅ Getting stronger
✅ Feeling more energetic
..and the scale might barely move.

Instead of obsessing over one number, ask yourself:

✔️ Are my clothes fitting better?
✔️ Am I getting stronger?
✔️ Do I have more energy?
✔️ Am I sleeping better?
✔️ Am I moving with less pain?
✔️ Am I more consistent than I was a month ago?

Those are victories worth celebrating.

The goal isn't just to lose weight—it's to build a healthier, stronger version of yourself.

Remember: The scale is one tool in the toolbox, not the entire toolbox. Don't let one number erase all the progress you're making.

Have a great Friday, and keep showing up for yourself! 💪
