Today, our Andalusia Health team came together wearing pink in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Behind every pink ribbon is a story. A story of strength, courage, hope, and sometimes heartbreak. For many of us, breast cancer awareness is personal. It represents the people we love, the battles we’ve witnessed, and the lives that have forever been changed.

Among those pictured is Jule, one of our dedicated RNs and a breast cancer survivor. We are proud to celebrate Jule and her journey, along with the many other survivors within our Andalusia Health family and throughout our community whose stories may not always be seen or shared.

Whether you’re a survivor, currently facing a diagnosis, supporting someone through treatment, or remembering someone you love, this month is for you.

Today, we wear pink for every story, every fight, and every life touched by breast cancer. 💗

Our Women’s Services + Family Health location has expanded! We’re still in the same location, just with more space to better serve our patients and community.

We recently had the pleasure of coming together for our annual Employee Recognition Gala, an evening dedicated to celebrating the hard work, dedication, and milestones of our amazing team members.

From recognizing years of service to honoring the individuals who go above and beyond, the evening was a reminder of just how fortunate we are to have such wonderful people as part of the Andalusia Health family.

To our employees, thank you for the countless ways you make a difference, not only within our hospital but throughout the community we proudly serve. Your compassion, commitment, and heart never go unnoticed.

It’s Food Service Appreciation Week, and we couldn’t let it pass without celebrating the amazing team that keeps our patients, visitors, and staff fed and cared for every day!

And what better way to celebrate than with a little Chick-fil-A?! 🎉 With Andalusia’s brand-new Chick-fil-A opening TODAY, our Food Services Squad got to enjoy a special lunch from the newest spot in town!

Living well with diabetes starts with having the right information. 💙

Join us Wednesday, October 14, for our next diabetes education class with Andalusia Health dietitian Kelli Worley-Hendren.

This month, Kelli will talk about commonly used supplements, vitamins and minerals, how they work in the body, and what people living with diabetes should know before adding them to their routine.

A little pink, a lot of love, and some pretty amazing goodies! 💕

Our community showed up in such a special way for Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Thanks to the generosity of local businesses and community partners, our Mammography team has some wonderful giveaways planned for our patients throughout October.

Every patient who has a mammogram with us during October will be entered into a drawing for one of our larger gift bags filled with goodies donated by our community. Winners will be drawn on Monday, November 2 and contacted by our Mammography team.

A very special thank you to Jenny Goss, Grit + Grind Coffee,Sweet South Market, Lena Ellen Boutique, Utopia Salon + Spa, Blue Bird Coffee Company, CareMed Home Medical Equipment, MaryAnn’s Florist, Hali Sport, and City of Andalusia for helping us make this possible!
