Selah House

Selah House Our faith-based, homelike center in Indiana helps women 12+ recover from anorexia, bulimia, and other eating disorders.

At Selah House, we focus on the individual, not the symptoms, and consider the whole person to ensure long-term recovery. At Selah House, our success is built on a foundation of evidence-based treatment that prepares adolescent and adult women, ages 12 and older, for their journeys towards life-long freedom from eating disorders. We offer a unique Christ-centered environment that meets each person where they are in a judgment-free, therapeutic atmosphere.

We are grateful for their courage, selflessness, and dedication. Today, we reflect on their lasting impact and keep their loved ones in our thoughts as we honor their memory.

Wishing all a meaningful day of remembrance and gratitude.

As the month comes to a close, take what you need from it—and reflect on how far you’ve come.

Recovery is often built in small moments—quiet victories, renewed hope, and a growing sense of purpose. At Selah House, we’re continually inspired by the progress we witness, including stories that show how even the smallest steps can restore a sense of possibility.

Wherever you are in your journey, know that healing is possible. As you end the month, what’s one thing you’re doing to support your growth or well-being?

Happy Easter from Selah House đź’›

This season is a reminder that renewal is possible — even after the most difficult seasons.

At Selah House, we see the courage it takes to pursue healing from an eating disorder. Recovery isn’t linear, and it isn’t easy — but it is possible. Easter invites us to hold onto hope, to embrace small steps forward, and to trust that growth can happen in time.

Today, we’re holding space for peace, for nourishment, and for a gentler relationship with your body and yourself. Wherever you are in your journey, you are not alone — and healing is still unfolding. 🌿

Spring cleaning isn’t just for your space—it can be for your mindset, too 🌼

This season, consider what it might feel like to release rigid food rules, comparison, and perfectionism. At Selah House, we believe healing begins when you create space for nourishment, balance, and a more compassionate connection with yourself.

What are you ready to let go of this spring?

At Selah House, clients recently participated in an outing with Happy Accidents Studio, where they had the opportunity to express themselves through art and create pieces they’re proud of. These experiences provide space for reflection, creativity, and connection outside of the clinical setting.

We’re grateful to continue offering this as a regularly scheduled outing, giving clients meaningful opportunities to explore creativity and experience moments of joy and self-expression along their recovery journey.

In celebration of National Nutrition Month, Selah House is highlighting “The Power of Nutrition”—and how nourishing our bodies supports physical, mental, and social well-being.

This month, Sam Sarvak, Nutrition Assistant, is introducing new foods for clients to explore and experience together each week.

Week one featured: lychee! Clients had the opportunity to try this sweet, tropical fruit while learning about expanding food variety and building curiosity around nutrition.

We’re excited to continue celebrating the power of nutrition all month long! ✨
