Today we’re celebrating Guru Purnima in Connecticut with Shri Anandi Ma! Shri Dhyanyogi said that when any guru gives initiation, their heart is like a cow giving birth to a new calf, creating a lifelong bond. On Guru Purnima day, the guru’s heart is filled to the brim and that feeling pours out from them. As disciples, we are like that calf eager to receive the Guru’s love, protection and grace.

Last chance to register for the Healing Mantra Workshop with Shri Anandi Ma on July 18 in Woodbury, CT! At this one-of-a-kind event, we will customize a practice with true understanding of the Mrutyunjaya and repeat it along with the Hanuman Chalisa and japa of the Rama mantra for a profoundly deep healing. If circumstances allow, these practices will be strengthened further by performing a small fire ceremony of the healing mantras.

The energy of Rama japa (mantra repetition) and other similar japa purifies wherever it reaches. The energy keeps negative influences away. The immediate effect of japa is that it keeps us free from worry; it increases energy in the body and gives peace. By regular japa, negative thoughts are gradually destroyed. Even a wicked person is transformed through japa, and he improves.
