Heading to Zagreb!

We are incredibly proud to announce that our very own orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Thomas Liu, has been selected as a team physician for the USA Men's Water Polo National Team!

Dr. Liu will be traveling to Zagreb, Croatia, from July 31 to August 10 to provide elite medical coverage for the USA Men's Cadet National Team as they compete on the world stage at the World Aquatics U16 Championships.

Join us in wishing Dr. Liu and Team USA the best of luck as they go for gold!

As a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine, T. Thomas Liu, MD, PhD, brings elite-level experience to athletes of all backgrounds. In 2024, Dr. Liu volunteered for two weeks at the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC) Training Center, providing orthopedic and sports medicine care to Olympic and Paralympic athletes.

Following his service with the USOPC, Dr. Liu (pictured center, poolside) provided medical coverage as a poolside physician for a USA Water Polo club tournament. He also served as team physician for the USA Hockey U17 National Team during an international tournament in Finland in 2025 and plans to assist with a USA Weightlifting event this December.

Drawing on his experience caring for high-performance athletes, Dr. Liu is committed to delivering the same level of expertise and personalized care to patients throughout the High Desert—from competitive athletes striving for peak performance to active weekend warriors looking to stay healthy, active, and injury-free.
