Thankful for all of the moms who voted for me 🩵🥺, what an honor. Argyle Therapy to Thrive was born for the moms as well as your kids. Thank you for trusting me with some of your biggest struggles or weakest moments. I know how vital it is to have clear communication for building relationships and to be able to eat and THRIVE👏!

Keep these in mind when trying new solids!

1) 👋let them touch and explore it first (vs putting a bite straight to their mouth)

2) 👅when they taste (and make a face, gag, etc) do NOT react! They just might surprise you and go back for more. This parent did such a great job, you can see how he continues to explore it!

3) 🍟the size of the food you offer can make a difference. French-fry shape is one of my favorite ways to have foods cut to start- easy to hold, easy to bite, and not too small!
The Solid Starts app can help a lot with how to serve.

I am offering a 4 week program (1 hr meeting per week) to help parents/caregivers/sitters feel comfortable introducing solids to babies safely.

Maybe you have older kids and didn’t do baby led weaning before… I can help!

Maybe you’re a FTM and the thought of introducing peanut butter is paralyzing you… I can help!

Maybe you want your sitter to know how to prepare food for baby safely when you’re out of the house… I can help!

An oldie but a goodie! If you have a toddler who doesn’t sit still for books or doesn’t show much interest yet, I highly recommend getting on the floor, facing them, and using an interactive book!

📚You can use any book, however, this one is particularly fun as it has a mouse 🐭 that goes THROUGH each page!

💡Other ideas include flap books, reusable sticker books, books with changing characters/pieces, sensory touch and feel books, etc!

Early literacy and PRE-literacy skills are SO important for language development and later academic success✏️🎓
