My first client. My first testimonial. My first confirmation that I had a gift.
She was my grandmother. My nana. The matriarch of my mother’s lineage.

I carry her with me every single time I touch someone’s hair. Every client who sits in my chair is an extension of that first yes she gave me. This work is sacred to me because she made it sacred first.
