On August 29, 2024 we held an event at Arnold Park for overdose awareness month. We wanted to hold a candlelight vigil to honor our loved ones that had passed away from accidental overdoses. We also wanted to celebrate the people in recovery. Our event was a big success. We had almost 200 people come through. It was beautiful. Here are some pictures. People that came to honor, celebrate, support and spread awareness. 💜

We are Amanda, Amy, and Ashley. If you're unfamiliar with our story, here's a brief overview. We're three of the six Price kids who grew up in the yellow house on Electra, often running up and down Starling Airport Road. We spent much of our youth in Arnold, where we're now raising our own families. Our family has been repeatedly touched by the disease of addiction. We lost our oldest brother, Jeff, to an accidental co***ne overdose in 2012, our father to a fentanyl overdose in 2022, and Ashley's partner and our niece's father to a fentanyl overdose in August 2024. Despite the pain, there's joy in sharing our story. Ashley got clean on October 13, 2015, and Amy on May 15, 2018; they fight daily to stay clean. Losing Jeff, Scott, and Dave made us realize we had to take action. We started J.S.D. to honor them, raise awareness, and spread hope through success stories, reminding those struggling that they're worthy and capable of getting clean.
