Recovery Café offers a structured ASAM Level 1 online program focused on education, risk reduction, behavior change, relapse prevention, and practical recovery skills. Live online sessions cover topics including triggers, emotional regulation, addiction and the brain, SMART goals, identity, routines, crisis planning, support systems, and long-term recovery.

Program length is determined by the recommendations contained in your clinical evaluation.

Recovery Café is an independent provider and is not part of the Georgia DBHDD provider network. Courts, probation departments, evaluators, licensing boards, and other agencies may establish their own provider requirements. For court-ordered and out-of-state participants, Recovery Café may provide a provisional Notice of Enrollment so your reporting authority can review the program and approve participation before you begin. Recovery Café does not bill insurance.

When someone picks up the phone to call us at Recovery Café, they're not just making a call; they're taking a courageous first step towards transformation in addiction recovery. As a certified drug and alcohol counselor, I'm part of that pivotal moment, but it's vital to recognize that recovery from substance use disorders is a multifaceted journey that involves many different roles—roles that many don't realize are part of the process.

When we pick up the phone, we embody not just curiosity and information, but also a deep sense of empathy. Often, we receive messages about 'ASAM Level 1 Classes." which is a common outpatient program. This isn't just about providing answers but truly understanding a person’s unique story. Our empathetic approach sets into motion a potential lifelong journey for someone seeking to transform their relationship with substances and the complex issues that envelop them.

"Using the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, investigators identified 160 adolescent residential treatment facilities in the United States. More than one third had no available beds, and 10 states and Washington, DC, had no facilities at all. Half of the centers required an average up-front payment of nearly $30,000 for patients paying out of pocket."

Despite an epidemic of overdose deaths among US teens, access to adolescent residential addiction treatments is expensive and often hard to come by, a new analysis showed.
