NPIP and AI clean! Due to being NPIP all sales are final as per NC Dept of agriculture’s regulations. We do a 48 hour guarantee on our chicks. There are so many issues and circumstances that can cause chicks to pass that we cannot be held responsible for any losses past the 48 hour guarantee. If there
are losses in the 48 hour window we will gladly replace or refund your purchase upon proof of loss. To place a hold on our animals we require a 50% non-refundable deposit. We’ve had too many no shows and such. We started this little homestead in 2019. We had lost our home to Hurricane Florence in 2018 and got a few chickens when we came back to work on the property. We fell in love with them and got more and well you know chicken math! The more chickens we got the better I felt about everything going on. We added mini Nubians, and Nigerian dwarfs then transitioned to pure Nubians. We acquired Sebastopol geese as well as Kune kune pigs. Now my therapy includes hatching eggs as well as taking care of everyone so they will breed too so I can share the love of these special creatures with anyone that would like to have farm animals! We have our favorites here and some of the breeds of chickens we raise are: silkies, satins and showgirls, some being frizzled! Crevecoeur, English Orpington and Easter eggers. Every bird in our flock except for Miss Kitty (our Easter egger hen that’s the sole survivor of our first batch of chickens) are from some of the TOP breeders in the country such as Orpington farmhouse acres, Greenlands rare and beautiful flock, Burlesque poultry, The Gypsy Hen Poultry and so many others!! We love to help new to farming families and networking with other more experienced farmers. We believe firmly that you can never stop learning! We try to hatch as often as we can and hope to be able to offer different ages and unique looking birds as much as demand calls for.
