What's new at Discover Your Roots 2025?

Sue VerHoef, Director of Oral History and Genealogy at the Atlanta History Center, will offer two workshops on preserving and sharing the history of your family. Genealogist Ruth Campbell will help you use artificial intelligence (AI) to take your skills further. President Tamu Taylor of the Metro Atlanta Chapter of AAHGS will present a fascinating case study to help you better analyze records and evaluate evidence. If you need to learn how to build out a tree using free online tools, genealogy trainer Maureen Keillor will take you through it step-by-step. And prepare to search in real-time, so you can see "super search engines" in action with Sicilian Family Tree's Jennifer Petrino.

What’s new this year? There will be 9 classes offered over a 3.5-hour period, and breakfast is FREE to all who attend.
