🌙 You are not meant to spend your entire life preparing for the life you came here to live.
There is a subtle trap on the spiritual path.
We begin seeking awareness, healing, alignment, and connection because we want to experience life more fully. But somewhere along the journey, we can become so focused on our evolution that we forget to inhabit the very life we’re evolving within.
We tell ourselves:
When I’m more financially secure, I’ll relax.
When I’ve healed this pattern, I’ll open myself to more love.
When I’ve built what I’m meant to build, I’ll finally have time to enjoy it.
But what if your soul isn’t waiting for some future version of you to arrive?
What if the life you’re longing for is asking to be welcomed into the life you already have?
Not someday. Not when the responsibilities lessen. Not when everything finally makes sense.
Now.
You don’t have to abandon your ambitions or your purpose. But you can begin making room for the feelings you’ve been hoping those things will eventually bring you.
Peace. Freedom. Connection. Wonder. Joy.
And perhaps the deeper spiritual practice is learning to experience those things without requiring your external circumstances to justify them first.
So tonight, as you close your eyes, consider this:
What if I stopped treating happiness as the reward for getting everything right?
What if I allowed myself to receive some of it now?
Your soul’s journey is not simply about becoming who you’re meant to be. It’s also about learning to love the experience of being who you already are.
May you fall asleep tonight remembering that there is beauty in your life that doesn’t need to be earned, improved, or explained.
Just received. ❤️
