It isn’t easy navigating dirt roads with a wheelchair that’s falling apart, but that was the reality for Chadiness.
In many parts of the world, mobility devices are difficult to access, leaving people to rely on wheelchairs or other devices that are worn out or in desperate need of replacement.
Chadiness lives near Livingstone, Zambia, and became paralyzed from the waist down after suddenly collapsing one day.
This past August, JAS scholarship recipients traveled from the U.S. to help assemble and distribute Mobility Carts alongside our distribution partner, Mobility International Mission. Together, they delivered a new Mobility Cart directly to Chadiness’s home!
For Chadiness, his new Mobility Cart means more than replacing an old wheelchair. It means being able to travel smoothly and reliably, while carrying the items he needs along the way.
