It’s interesting to me how quickly people label certain practices as “wrong” just because they don’t fully understand them.

Meanwhile stress, burnout, anxiety, overstimulation, and being disconnected from ourselves has become so normal that nobody questions it.

At the end of the day, practices like sound healing, breathwork, meditation, yoga, etc are all meant to bring the body back to a more regulated state.

Relaxation shouldn’t feel rebellious.

Your body remembers safety before your mind does.

Root chakra work is about grounding. Stability. Feeling supported in your body again.

Save this for the moments you need to come back to yourself.

Thank you Morehouse, for trusting me to hold space for your community 🤍

What started as a wellness session turned into a room full of release, presence, breath, emotion, and genuine connection.

We moved, stretched, breathed deeply, and allowed ourselves to slow down for a moment.

One woman shared with me afterward that she was brought to tears because she lost her mother last year and didn’t realize how much emotion her body was still holding onto.

Moments like that always remind me that the body remembers.. and sometimes people just need a safe space to finally let go.

Before I started doing bodywork, I thought mastery was all about technique.

Turns out, the real work happens when you get three things right.

1. Ask the right questions before you touch. Your client’s pain tells you everything you need to know.

2. Invest in the tools that actually work. A massage gun and trigger point therapy aren’t luxuries. These help me do the work properly.

3. Create a space where the nervous system feels safe. Palo santo. Plants. Intention. The environment isn’t decoration, it’s part of the healing.

I call the work I do Ease Theory bc when I cracked the code to get those three right, I got my clients in a state where the body could truly release what it’s been holding.
