Clinic inflow shows Dr. ChatGPT has beaten pop psychology as the most significant contributor to psychiatric issues, especially self-pity, guilt, and excessive self-consciousness and self-criticism.

Pop-psych books at least need some hard work to read. ChatGPT has freed people of this requirement. And it talks back too. Wow.

They have one commonality, though: both are gifts from Silicon Valley.
