Living is a gift 🀲🏾

Womanhood is a divine experience πŸŒ€

Motherhood is an expansive journey ❀️

I am in my 5th becoming, and I have learned things that only being could teach. I am tasked with remembering and teaching our ancestral rights and rites through this path, so that my daughters don't have to forget and so that my sisters don't have to remember ❀️❀️❀️

The village doesn't look how it used to, but we are created to create the Nu village.

All of what we once knew rests in the darkness of our womb. Sometimes the pain we feel comes from living in a world that has forced us to forget. I remember.

Postpartum ~ conception ~ loss ~ pregnancy ~ motherhood ~ I remember them all ❀️ I walk with these honors in love. We can't do this without our sisters, our mothers, our foremothers, our aunties, and all of our true men.

If you're a mama in her MamaHood era, especially in postpartum (AND postpartum overlapping from a previous birth) then always REMEMBER, you are to be held. You are to be served. You are to be honored. Be easy and take your time in the 4th trimester ❀️ feel and heal. Use who is there for you and love them for it πŸ₯°

It's like babies know when you're about to lay down ✨ or when you finna eat 🀭 or when you even think about doing anything that doesn't involve them πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ because where do you think you're going with my milk?!

This is my 3rd breastfed baby β€οΈπŸ† and I've been breastfeeding for the past 4 years with a couple of months breaks in between the next baby. It's not easy, but it's easy. If you KNOW, you know what I mean.

Loading up on snacks and water for the cluster feeding night ahead πŸ‘€πŸ₯² thoroughly enjoying every moment of motherhood- even when I'm crashing out. Even when my circumstances are in between the desired outcome πŸ™πŸΎ even when I'm tired AF ❀️ thank you God πŸŒ€πŸ€²πŸΎπŸ«°πŸΎβ˜πŸΎβœ¨

I didn't have pregnancy glow because I was fighting for my lifeeeee but postpartum glow is a thang πŸ₯°

Praise God ✨ Source of all π“‹Ή ✨ Mighty Creator ✨ Mother God, Father God ✨ The All In All ✨

I knew baby wasn't coming in August on her due date, but I didn't know she would come on 7/5 πŸ₯°πŸ₯°πŸ₯° a week before her Daddy birthday ❀️ she's the GIFT 🎁

We call her Majesty A'maya πŸ’Ž she wanted to be here deeply and without any doubt in her spirit. The things I have endured while pregnant with her have been unimaginable! The whole time I told her, "I got you, I can handle this. You are safe here. I can carry you."
