Rain or shine, we run for a reason! 🌧️🏃‍♀️🩷

This weekend, Dr. Tiegs and members of the ACRM team braved the rain to participate in the Team Maggie’s Dream 5K/10K—all in support of an incredible cause close to our hearts.

Team Maggie’s Dream helps young adults facing cancer preserve their dreams of building a family by providing education, support and financial assistance for fertility preservation before cancer treatment.

We’re proud to support an organization that understands just how meaningful the hope of a future family can be. 💙

Thank you to Team Maggie’s Dream for the important work you do to help keep the dream of family alive.

Dr. Fogle, Dr. Tiegs, and Dr. Smeltzer recently represented ACRM at the Georgia Obstetrical and Gynecological Society (GOGS) Annual Meeting at Sea Island! 🌊

At ACRM, continued education and strong relationships with our referring OB/GYN community are an important part of providing exceptional, collaborative care for our patients — and it doesn’t hurt when the learning comes with a beautiful Sea Island backdrop! ☀️

PCOS now has a new name: PMOS (Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome). 🤍

The updated name was created to better reflect the full hormonal and metabolic impact of the condition — not just its effects on the ovaries.

Dr. Stephanie Smeltzer is breaking down what this change means and why it matters for patients.

PMOS affects much more than fertility alone, and greater awareness can help lead to earlier diagnosis, better treatment, and more comprehensive care.

Sharing stories helps others feel seen. Thank you for trusting us with yours.

“This part of my story didn’t come easy to share, but if it helps even one person feel less alone, it’s worth it.

For a long time, we were just trying… waiting… hoping. Month after month, wondering why it wasn’t happening for us. It’s a kind of heartbreak that’s quiet, but heavy.

After a miscarriage and a year of trying, we knew we needed help. Our first appointment was on August 21, 2024—and that’s when our IVF journey began.

We aren’t local—we’re from Alabama—and made the two-hour drive each way for every appointment. It wasn’t always easy, but Dr. Fogle and the team at ACRM Atlanta worked so hard to accommodate us and make the process as smooth as possible.

It wasn’t the path we originally pictured, but it became ours.

And if I’m being honest—it was hard. Really hard.
Emotionally overwhelming. Physically draining. And full of so many unknowns.

But through it all, we were surrounded by the most incredible care. Dr. Fogle and the team at ACRM Atlanta walked with us every step of the way—through the hard days, the hopeful days, and everything in between.

There were moments I didn’t know how I would keep going… but we did.

And I can say without a doubt—we would do it all over again, every mile, every appointment, every hard day—because they are simply the best.

And now, we get to hold the answer to so many prayers.

Please know—you are never alone 🧡”
