October, Day 13 🌄🌈♨️

From invigorating to blissful!

We started the day hiking Dale Ball Trail at sunrise, climbing to a spectacular lookout with 360° mountain views.

And a RAINBOW stretching across the valley! 🌈😍

Then we spent the afternoon soaking in the beautiful mineral hot springs at Ojo Santa Fe.

Ahhhhh… pure bliss! 🩵

Movement and stillness.
Adventure and restoration.
Strength and softness.

I love the freedom to experience ALL of it!

Health isn’t always about slowing down. Sometimes it’s about feeling strong, energized, and wonderfully alive.

And sometimes it’s about deep rest, warmth, and receiving.

The beauty is in having the capacity for both. 🩵

What a beautiful, beautiful day!

October, Day 12 ☀️🎨🩵

Finding the sacred in everyday life.

A beautiful Santa Fe sunrise.
Wandering through historic streets filled with adobe architecture, gardens, and fountains.
Walking a labyrinth with Kenny, praying together.
And experiencing the beauty and creativity of Georgia O’Keeffe’s art.

Nature. Prayer. Connection. Creativity.

Different experiences, all inviting us to slow down, notice, and receive.

Maybe the sacred isn’t separate from everyday life.

Maybe it’s woven throughout it. 🩵

Where have you noticed the sacred lately?

October, Day 11 🍂🏔️

Today was full of the kind of beauty that nourishes my soul.

We left Albuquerque and headed into the mountains to hike Tree Spring Trail.

The trees, the fresh mountain air, the climb, and the gorgeous overlook at the top with views of both sides of the mountain. Just WOW. 😍

And something else beautiful happened along the way.

Prayer kept arising naturally as we walked, and then we’d find ourselves in these lovely, unexpected conversations with other hikers.

I love those moments of spontaneous human connection. ❤️

Afterward, a delicious chili mocha in Madrid, a stop for an IPA for Kenny at Bear Creek Brewery, and finally, Santa Fe!

A day of movement, beauty, prayer, connection, and little adventures.

This is what I want more of.

Not necessarily more doing.

More experiencing.
More presence.
More openness to the life unfolding right in front of me.

🍂 What nourished your soul today?

October 7 🍂

I’ve been reflecting on leadership and noticing how closely the principles of great leadership align with somatic healing and facilitation.

Both require self-awareness, curiosity, discernment, clear intentions, and the willingness to keep growing.

And both ask us to do our own inner work.

Not because we need to become perfect, but because our own nervous system, patterns, and presence influence the people we serve.

The more connected we become to ourselves, the more capacity we have to remain present with others.

Great leadership isn’t about having all the answers.

Neither is great somatic work.

It’s about creating the conditions where wisdom, growth, and healing can emerge. 💚

October, Day 5 🍂

I’m learning that expanding nervous-system capacity isn’t about forcing myself to be faster - or slower.

Today Pilates and lifting weights felt strong, energized and alive.

Trying to rush myself?

That ended with a cup in the toilet and smoothie on my shirt. 😂

Apparently rushing isn’t the same as fast health.

Health is range - having access to more energy AND more stillness while staying connected to ourselves.

And if part of that range feels out of reach?

Dip a toe in. 💚

Try something small and doable. Notice what happens. Let your capacity grow from there.

If you’re learning to understand your own nervous system and come home to yourself, this is the work I love helping people explore. 🌿

October, Day 4 🍂

A Sanctuary planning day at home.

This afternoon I found myself going back through the work we’ve already done - this season and last spring.

Maps. Books. Handwritten notes.
Closeness and distance.
Boundaries in the body.
Activation, protection, connection and flow.

I love the way this work keeps unfolding. I’m not creating from scratch each week. I’m listening to what’s already here, what I’ve learned, what the women are showing me, and what feels ready to come next.

Meanwhile - my love relaxing beside me, the screen door open, perfect fall air, bossa nova playing and eventually rain falling over all that green. 🌧️🌿

Work that matters to me.
Someone I love nearby.
A beautiful ordinary afternoon.

October, I’m paying attention. 💚🍂

What’s one ordinary thing you’re enjoying today? 💚

October, Day 3 🍂

Today looked very different from yesterday.

Slooooow porch time.
Books I love.
Autumn flowers.
Prayer and listening.
A cozy blanket.
Homemade chili cocoa.
Hot cocoa in my favorite Sanctuary mug. ☕️

Yesterday had movement, Pilates, walking, and going out.

Today my body wanted slow.

I’m learning to love the range.

There are days for movement and days for stillness. Days for reaching outward and days for turning inward.

Neither is more alive than the other.

Maybe enjoying our lives isn’t about making every day exciting.

Maybe it’s becoming present enough to receive the life that’s actually here. 💚

October, I’m paying attention. 🍂

Maybe today, notice what pace feels nourishing to you. 💚

October, Day 2 🍂

Trying on pretty shoes for my niece’s wedding. 👠
Pilates.
Walking to the lake for dinner.
Time with someone I love.
Water. Movement. Life. 💚

I’m paying attention this month to the ordinary things that make me feel alive and here for my life.

And apparently today that included being girly, moving my body, and walking somewhere beautiful for dinner. 😂🌊

Maybe coming home to yourself can look like this, too - noticing the life you’re already living. 💚

10/01/2026

October is my favorite month. 🍂

And somehow every year, it seems to disappear far too quickly.

So this October I’m practicing something simple:

Enjoying my life while I’m living it.

Not waiting for the weekend.
Not waiting until everything is finished.
Not rushing through one beautiful day to get to the next thing.

Today that looked like a little self-care between clients, appreciating the beautiful space where I get to do work I love, connecting with the people who come through my door…

…and waving a magic wand that a stranger gave me after a wonderfully synchronous conversation about my work. 😂✨

Life has so many tiny moments asking to be received.

October 1. I’m here for it. 🍂💚
