IGCS and the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) are joining forces to help make evidence-based gynecologic cancer guidelines more accessible and relevant to healthcare professionals around the world.

The partnership builds on a pilot initiative in the Philippines, where IGCS supported NCCN and the Society of Gynecological Oncologists of the Philippines (SGOP) in adapting clinical guidelines for cervical, ovarian, and uterine cancers to local healthcare needs and resources.

Through a newly signed agreement, IGCS and NCCN will explore expanding this approach to additional countries and regions, working with local experts and professional societies through the IGCS global network. Because advancing gynecologic cancer care worldwide means bringing the best available evidence together with the expertise of those delivering care in their own communities.

LIVE SURGERY was back at ! πŸŽ₯
Attendees in MontrΓ©al watched live, unedited gynecologic cancer procedures broadcast in real time from Jewish General Hospital, HΓ΄pital Maisonneuve-Rosemont, and McGill University Health Centre.
Operating surgeons narrated their technique as they worked, walking through decision points across open, laparoscopic, and robotic-assisted approaches, while our expert moderators, Dr. Nadeem Abu-Rustum, Dr. Pedro Ramirez, and Dr. Christina Fotopoulou, offered running commentary and fielded questions from the audience.
A heartfelt thank you to the surgical teams and hospitals who opened their ORs to the global gynecologic oncology community. This is what learning together looks like. πŸ’œ
