Great shot of the newly renovated restaurant at the Dillard House in upstate Georgia, featuring art by APP and design by the teams at and . We initially visited the Dillard House last year to meet with John Dillard and learn more about the property and his family’s history. He provided us with a treasure trove of family photos and ephemera to place around the restaurant, hotel, and guest cottages.
For the restaurant, we mixed the family’s collection of photos and art with new prints, installed on a picture rail spanning the booths. The look provides a refreshing update to the restaurant, while still adhering to the homegrown, country feel of the treasured location.
