💚 PROVIDER SPOTLIGHT: DR. SUSAN GRANT TRAXLER 💚

You may already know her, but we’d love for you to get to know her a little better! 🩺✨

Dr. Susan Grant Traxler has been a valued part of the Cu***ng Pediatric Group family for 8 years and has been practicing medicine for 25 years!
For Dr. Traxler, pediatrics is about so much more than treating an illness. She loves building lasting relationships with families, watching children grow from infancy into adulthood, helping parents navigate the worries that come with raising children, and supporting adolescents through some of their most challenging years.

Her approach to patient care can be summed up in three words: Compassionate. Thoughtful. Reassuring. 💚
She wants every child and family to feel heard, understood, and confident in the care they receive.

Outside of the office, Dr. Traxler loves spending time with her husband and two teens, playing the piano, cooking, working on jigsaw puzzles, playing board games, and relaxing in the North Carolina mountains. And if you know her well, you probably already know one very important fact… COFFEE! COFFEE!! COFFEE!! ☕😂

Some people simply have a heart for caring for others, and Janice Lowman, CPNP, is one of those special people.
For 14 years, Janice has been an important part of the Cu***ng Pediatric Group family, and during that time she has had the incredible privilege of watching so many of our patients grow—from tiny newborns to teenagers preparing for their next chapter. 🩺💚

For Janice, pediatrics is about so much more than caring for a child when they are sick. It’s about building relationships, supporting parents, celebrating milestones, calming worries, and being a trusted presence through every stage of childhood.

One of the things she treasures most is knowing she can make a positive impact not only on a child’s life, but on their entire family.

Her reminder to parents is one we absolutely love:

Behind the provider is also a woman who deeply values family. Janice loves spending time with her grandbabies, making memories with those she loves, and enjoying a trip to the beach whenever she gets the chance. ❤️

💚 MEET OUR PROVIDER | DR. JOANNA MORRIS 💚

It’s been a little while since we’ve introduced the amazing providers who make up the Cu***ng Pediatric Group family, so we’re excited to bring back our Provider Spotlight! 🩺✨

First up is Dr. Joanna Morris, a Board Certified Pediatrician who has been practicing medicine for 20 years and has spent 13 of those years right here at Cu***ng Pediatric Group!

For Dr. Morris, pediatrics is about so much more than treating an illness. One of her favorite parts of caring for children is building relationships with families and having the privilege of watching their children grow.

She has special interests in breastfeeding medicine and allergic diseases, including food allergies and EoE.

Outside the office, Dr. Morris loves spending time with her family, being involved with church, reading, traveling, and relaxing with her four dogs. She grew up in Texas, loves the beach, is a night owl, considers fall her favorite season, and her favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. And, of course, when it comes to sports, she’s cheering for her boys—and the Texas A&M Aggies! 👍🏻

A couple of fun facts you may not know:
she can make balloon animals 🎈… but she doesn’t like needles! 😂

We are incredibly thankful to have Dr. Morris as part of the CPG family and for the compassion, experience, and dedication she brings to our patients and families every day. 💚

At Cu***ng Pediatric Group, we believe exceptional pediatric care starts with providers who care for every child like they're family. Today, we're excited to introduce Erica Bullard, MSN, CPNP!

Erica has been practicing medicine for 15 years and has been caring for families at Cu***ng Pediatric Group for nearly 4 years. Her passion for pediatrics began at just 3 years old with a Fisher-Price doctor's kit—and that passion has only grown stronger over the years.

What Erica loves most about pediatrics is helping children feel safe during difficult moments and reassuring parents that they're doing an incredible job. She has a special place in her heart for newborns and first-time parents, and she's passionate about walking alongside families through every stage of childhood.

One piece of advice she loves to share with parents:
💚 "Give yourself grace. We are all in this together. Don't compare your child to others—they are all on their own timeline."

When she's away from the office, you'll find Erica playing tennis or pickleball, listening to audiobooks or true crime podcasts, spending time at the beach, or hanging out with her two dogs, Zappa and Ollie. Fun fact—she married her kindergarten best friend! 🐾☀️📚

💚✨ Meet Our Provider: Heather Peters, CPNP ✨💚

At Cu***ng Pediatric Group, we believe getting to know your child's healthcare provider helps build the trust and relationships that are so important to exceptional pediatric care.

Today, we're excited to introduce Heather Peters, Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner! 🌿

Heather has been caring for children and families for nearly three decades and has been a valued member of the Cu***ng Pediatric Group family since 2006. She is passionate about providing compassionate, evidence-based care while building lasting relationships with the families she serves.

One of Heather's favorite parts of pediatrics is watching children grow—from caring for them as newborns to seeing them thrive through school and beyond. She especially enjoys newborn care and considers it a privilege to support families during those special early years.

When she's not in the office, you'll likely find Heather spending time with her family and her beloved dog, exploring our beautiful National Parks, hiking in the mountains, or enjoying some delicious Mexican food! 🥾🏔️🐾🌮

One piece of advice Heather loves to share with parents:

👩‍⚕️ Meet Radhika, CPNP-PC

At Cu***ng Pediatric Group, we believe caring for children is about so much more than medicine—it's about building lasting relationships with families. Today we're excited to introduce one of our wonderful providers, Radhika, CPNP-PC!

Radhika has been practicing pediatric medicine since 2015 and has a passion for helping children live their healthiest lives through preventive care, education, and compassionate guidance.

She has a special passion for newborn care, preventive health, and behavioral and mental health, believing that early intervention, education, and strong partnerships with families help children thrive at every stage of life.

She especially enjoys caring for newborns and watching children grow through every stage of childhood.

As a mom of three herself, she understands that parenting doesn't come with a manual.

💙 Her advice to new parents:
"You will never know it all—and that's okay. You are your child's best advocate. Don't be afraid to ask questions. I'm still learning every day as a mom, too!"

When she's not caring for patients, you'll likely find her spending time with her family, traveling, baking, reading, exercising, or enjoying the outdoors. She loves tropical vacations, cheers on the Braves and Tennessee Volunteers, and says fall is her favorite season.

One thing that truly stands out about Radhika is her approach to patient care:

At Cu***ng Pediatric Group, we've had the privilege of caring for families in our community for many years. Along the way, we've welcomed new providers, grown as a practice, and had the joy of watching so many of our little patients grow up.

Dear CPG Community,

I hope this message finds you basking in the warmth of summer, filled with bright opportunities and joyful moments!

I’m excited to share some heartfelt news about my journey within our practice. I will be transitioning into an administrative role dedicated to enhancing our mental health offerings. My dream is to create a supportive platform for resilience that is available to all our families, whenever and wherever you need it. As we all know, it truly takes a village to nurture our children in today’s world!

Many of you have welcomed me into your lives during our office visits, and I want you to know that my commitment to your journey remains as strong as ever. Though I will be stepping back from direct patient care, I will be working diligently behind the scenes, focusing on advisory efforts to further strengthen our community’s support.

It brings me immense joy to introduce Radhika Singh, one of our talented Nurse Practitioners, who will be joining me in this exciting chapter. With over six years of experience in mental health care, Radhika is passionate and dedicated, and I am thrilled to collaborate closely with her, our wonderful team, and all of you as we pave the way for new and meaningful offerings.
