Did Indigenous peoples call Plantago "white man's footprint" because they pretended not to know the plant, or did they actively work to safeguard their knowledge from the people enacting genocide on them? 🤷♀️ Sure seems suspicious that white Europeans invented use of a plant that Indigenous peoples had been working with for LONGER than any recorded use by Europeans!
And what about Plantago use in Africa and Asia? Hmmmmm.
