Meet Radha Rose💕
How did Kirtan find you ? 🎶
For me, it came after I had actually walked away from classical music for seven years.
I eventually found my way back through community singing, and something had changed. I wasn’t trying to be perfect anymore. I was simply experiencing the joy of making sound with other people.
Kirtan opened the door to a whole new relationship with music — one rooted in connection, devotion, spirituality, and community.
And honestly, chanting never gets old.
You can sing the same mantra thousands of times, and it can feel completely different depending on where you are in your life, who you’re singing with, and what’s moving through the room.
One of the most beautiful things to witness is watching people soften around their voices. Someone may arrive feeling self-conscious or unsure, and little by little, they begin to open. They sing from the heart. They reconnect with themselves.
I didn’t even grow up singing. I was a classically trained cellist, and spent years believing music was something you had to get “right.”
Kirtan taught me something different.
Your voice doesn’t have to be perfect to be sacred.
And if you’ve never experienced Kirtan before, you don’t need to know anything. You don’t need to know the mantras, speak Sanskrit, or think of yourself as a singer.
You can listen. You can sing. You can sit quietly, laugh, cry, dance, or simply be.
There is no right way to experience it.
So if you’re curious, come.
Come as you are and see what happens. ✨
