Speaker Spotlight: Rudae Gadson, MSAT, LAT, ATC, NREMT 🌟
We are proud to introduce our final speaker highlight for the 8th Annual Women’s Sports & Wellness Conference!
Joining us alongside an incredible panel of athletic trainers for our Medical Emergencies and Sideline Decision-Making session is Rudae Gadson, MSAT, LAT, ATC, NREMT. Rudae brings essential clinical expertise from the front lines of athletic care, focusing on critical emergency response, high-pressure decision-making, and athlete safety.
When we asked Rudae what strength means to her, she shared a profound reflection on resilience, leadership, and representation:
“To me, strength means showing up with resilience in both my personal and professional life, leading with confidence, serving with compassion, and embracing every challenge as an opportunity to grow... As a woman of color, strength also means recognizing the value of my voice, staying true to who I am, and confidently taking up space in environments where representation matters. It's about breaking barriers with grace, leading by example, and creating opportunities for others to feel seen, supported, and empowered.”
Her dedication to compassionate care, authentic leadership, and creating space for future generations is the exact heart of our sports medicine community.
